EDgun  Leshiy 2 leak

What's the best way to remove the tiny "washer" under the grub screw air release on the rear of the stock (tube stock). Small leak there and Brian provide me with the tiny delrin washer but I'm not really sure how to remove the one that's there now. Hopefully the new one will just drop in straight to improve the 3 bar/24 hr leak.
You can get it out with a small pointy tool. Ie a toothpick or a needle should do the trick. It just lays on top so not difficult to remove.

It can be a little difficult to really seal it. If I remember well I put a small oring in it instead of delrin. Once sealed don't touch it 😉

What pistol did you shoot today

I was lucky and found this Crosman Model 88 (the Skanaker) for sale late last year. Today it was time to pull it out of its case, give it some long awaited TLC, fill up the Co2 cylinder and cross the fingers for the seals to keep up to their task. And lucky day they did! 28 years after the pistol was used last time! 😁

Question about Hawke Frontier scopes

I have two Frontier scopes, both 1" tubes, a 4-20x44 and a 3-15x44. Look like same scope size & weight etc. They have great lenses and mechanics. My only gripe is the eye box on both is super critical. There is almost zero tolerance on eye relief and almost zero on side to side alignment. Needless to say parallax is no an issue at all. As long as the view is even half clear you're OK. I seem to remember a Sidewinder 6.5-20 I had that was super critical also.

My question is...are all Frontier ( and Sidewinder) this way? Anyone have a 30mm version?

I like these scopes and have no plans to get rid of them but I'd like to have a bit more forgiving 4-16x scope w/ lighted reticle. Any suggestions?
I can't speak for the 1'' Frontier line (must be old version) but I have several 30mm Frontier scopes and they have reasonably flexible eye boxes (unless you're at maximum magnification).

Feelings and facts are different things, but continue on. I buy used and trade around, just ended up with what i have over time. I started out on the cheapies and mid tier, just decided I like the others more. Spend your money how you like, I bet iI have less money in my "prestigious" guns than the Karma products. I have probably.owned more guns than you have shot, powder or air. My "knowledge " is from years of experience. Again continue on your way, obviosly a civil conversation is not it.
I found this for you… want me to email them and see if they’ll make a plenum like this for your DRS?

The FX logo is a little small on the gun so a nice LV plenum might be a great way to let people know you don’t mess with “polished turds.”

Please welcome Corbin to our list of fine sponsors!!

I had the privilege of spending some time with Kelly & Travis (Owner / Manager of Corbin) at RMAC 2025. They are both rock solid humbly awesome guys.

From my understanding AirMarksman and some high profile ballista-tician's have been working with Corbin to design this new line of projectiles. 🤘

Here's a closer look at the S-Press in action

And Kelly trying to contain his excitement after their shooters delivered some remarkable results in this years Precision Marksman Challenge

Hornets nest

I can’t go in the dark but I will go in the evening. I am going to do my best to mitigate danger. I can’t wait to see what the bee suit looks like.
I got extra large so I can put on over my leather . Eye protection and a back up can of spray. And of course my cell phone. Can’t die with out that held high.

Shout Out To Leapers/UTG

I had gotten a UTG 3-12x compact and liked it so much I bought another Compact OP3 model, which is a step up. When it arrived it was clear and bright but the parallax wheel had a minor rough spot right in the 30-50 yd range. Right where I mostly shoot. I thought it would work itself out with use but no dice. A few days ago I asked for UTG to take a look at it and today, just a day or two after they received it, I got an email a new scope is already on the way.

That's what I call fantastic service! These scopes offer far more than one would expect and serve me well. So to know they support their customers like this is pretty dang nice.

Just wanted to give them their well deserved shout out.

Buying used rifles

You have something wrong or the wrong board. I just filtered the classifieds for WTS PCP RIFLE and came up with 17 pages
I figured it out thank you 🫡 I am seeing some sketchy ones tho messaged one member and still hasn’t replied. Hopefully it’s legit

30-Yard Challenge

Date: 8/4/25
Target: 30-Challenge 200 16X
Rifle: Taipan Veteran 2 Standard (550mm)
Pellet: AEA 18.3g @ 919-926fps (FX Chrono)
Scope: Athlon Argos Gen2 SFP 10-40 @ 35X

The Taipan Vet 2 has been so accurate (and quieter) since I dropped reg pressure from 150bar to 128bar. This 200 tops the 199 that I had on the leaderboard.

It was the only card I shot with the Taipan yesterday. I was sad - needed a boost. Somebody hit my car while parked at a store lot yesterday - and took off. Quite a bit of damage - I love this Mazda3 and she is in great shape, I keep her very clean. Some people are just jerks - will cost me at least $500 (insurance deductible) if I decide to file a claim. Probably well over $1,000 if I decide to pay out of pocket.

I also did some pellet testing with Greg's @NAProf .177 380mm FX Crown barrel. I found a tin of JSB 8.44 - so I gave them a try at 30-Masters - 1st card was a "baseline" using the AEA 8.72s I've had much success with in this barrel. The stunning thing was that the JSBs had a higher velocity than the AEAs - even though the JSBs were HEAVIER. I did a lot of chronoing - the AEAs are longer than the JSBs, might have something to do with the increased drag/friction. In any case, the 8.44s did really well - Greg take note...

195 10X (AEA 8.72 @ 915-922fps)
198 11X (JSB 8.44 @ 940-945fps)
197 10X (JSB 8.44 @ 942fps)
196 11X (JSB 8.44 @ 922-932) dialed down the power wheel a click or two

The 198 tied my 30-Masters high with the .177 Crown this year.
