Optics  SOLD Sold - Sightron SIII Field Target 10-50X60 model #25011

Up for sale is my Sightron SIII 10-50x60 model #25011.

Details and specs can be found here - https://sightron.com/products/siii-field-target-10-50x60-ir?variant=39283081281694

I bought this scope new back in mid 2021 in hopes of getting into FT, but the scene died in my area. I no longer have a use for this scope as I recently sold the EV2 that was also part of the plan. The scope functions perfectly and is in as-new condition except for a few marks on the focus knob caused by the set screws that attach the wheel. All of the original parts and manuals are included in original box along with a Sightron 3” sunshade part #70008.

$1,000 shipped.

Thank you for your consideration.

Diana  Diana 34...What a difference!

One thing I did notice my elevation on the scope is almost maxed out, i dont really like that. I ordered the rws mount with droop compensation. Apparently from reading these seem to benefit from that mount. Some have suggested bending the barrel...I have all sorts of presses in my shop so sure I could bend the barrel but that sorta scares me.

Gx filter is here

I saw a video with Joe B and Bill from TF and they were talking about quickly bleeding the water out of the bottome of the filter, ... quick enough (if you can even do it) keep some pressure in the filter body.
Venting the line to the gun would not drain the filter below ~1800 pisi or so. I dunno, if it's possible, I haven't tried it yet, but I'd prefer to just drain the thing.
I was curious enough to buy one for one of my compressors and I'll give it a go.

Daystate  Blackwolf owners discussion

Thanks guys.

Its a .177cal with 28" barrel.

For me its not an exercise in air concumption...but again no need to waist air if it does no good.

I`d rather have 20 hard shots than 100 puny shots. I`Ll shoot only +20grain pills.

My Daystate Revere has 130bar as standard regulator pressure in the FAC version.

I have chronograph so natually I will do the testing.

Which version of the Daystate BlackWolf ? 😃🎯🐺

Lethal air

I wouldnt recommend them. They have poor communication. I was concidering them for a texan build and they must not check their email often because it would take forever before you hear anything. I don't want my gun anywhere I cant get ahold of them for weeks.

I used doug instead and would highly recommend him. Contact Doug at maddog stocks if its an airforce you want worked on. He might have time to fit you in.

He did my 457 build with a custom sub moa barrel and then he went through everything on both my 257 and 457 and fire lapped the barrels for me. Communication was great and pricing was fair.

Garmin vs Athlon Chrony

Garmin app is absolutely TERRIBLE and the units SW is clunky. Other than giving you real time data on your current string it's difficult to do anything else with it. The unit itself works great but the app and SW is a real let down. I've been on the phone several times with Garmin and they don't really care. Maybe they get their stuff together now there's competition.

My extensive experience with marine Garmin electronics is they won't. Their SW has always been clunky to the point of being unsafe and updates are usually only done to fix operation flaws.

If you occasionally want basic information in front of you. The Garmin is great. If you want to do anything with the information look elsewhere.
I'm curious, what do you not like?
The app downloads each string like lightening when you end it. From there you get all the shots and stats. If you like, you can then simply download them to your computer to save or manipulate.

I agree, it's pretty simple, (read, badic), but is works for all the pertinent data I need. I'm not sure what you mean about the onboard sw being clunky. I can have mine up and running in seconds, and the down'oad to phone is automatic.

I also wish it bluetoothed the display to your phone so you could use the phone as a dispaly, but for everything else you get in convenience, it's all worth it.

Just curious?

HW/Weihrauch  Weihrauch HW 100kt .22

I few years ago I had a .22 KT . Regretfully I sold it off. Knowing now how rare they are this side of the pond I should have kept it.
I presently have one in each caliber both are the HW100TKFSB models ( the 177 in laminate) These have the 410mm barrel and the rifle length tube. I have an aluminum cylinder that I swap between the rifles depending on what I’m shooting at. I think these models are the best of both worlds. If looking for a bargain , these prices are in snowpesos ( CAD ) and include tax. Just add shipping. https://www.airgunforum.ca/store/index.php?cPath=22&osCsid=s6965gmhu6c6be9l2012lhrba7

Results  Meeker N50 Results, 7/19

Thanks to all who came out and shot with us at the Meeker Sportsman Club, in Marion, OH. We had dry weather barely missing the rain by a few hours but as usual challenging and swirling winds bit most of us In the behind. Apologies to Mark C. For not being able to post both of your match scores to the N50 website. I must have fat fingered it somehow and your Pro class scores didn’t upload??? Hopefully Lou and Grant can help me figure it out.

Shooting Airgun in residential neighbourhood

depending on law but laws in my area say its illegal for the projectile to be shot across a street so obviously check the law and don't do what is unlawful. obviously wouldn't want the pellet to go to anyone else's property too. If its lawful for him to discharge a airgun then its really simple. Just keep it quiet and don't give anyone a reason to complain.

I'm fairly skeptical of this advice. Even if something is legal that doesn't mean you should go out and do it.

I see this thread as having two issues. 1) Is what the OP asking legal? The answer is likely no, but we don't know where he lives so we can't answer that question. So there's the remaining question 2) Regardless of the laws, is what he's asking a reasonable thing to do? That's something we can give some feedback on.

Diana  Diana 34...What a difference!

Yes i don't want to permanently alter the stock so I'd use a slip over. I prefer originality.
That’s why my Diana 34 and FWB 124 don’t have Morgans on them. Slip on works fine, and yes, remove it after if you want to be sure it doesn’t affect the finish. And holy cow, I just realized who Pellets&Pistons is! Great channel. Sorry, life put our hobbies on about year and a half timeout so just getting back into the groove.

Diana  Diana 54 air king pro 7.5J

If looking to have a detuned 54 Airking. I would have a look for a 22mm piston kit and a weaker spring. The 12 fpe UK market 54’s use a restrictor washer in combination with the same spring I currently have in my rifle. .115 wire , rather than the .130 with in the FAC models. I believe the spring length is also shorter in both the factory detuned models 7.5 J and the 12fpe . I was able to disassemble without a spring compressor and it had about 1” of preload.

Great 1-8 lpvo cheap

Where are you finding the rt-6 @ $200 ever place I see them they are $300 plus? Most places uper $300's
If you're not in a hurry, they come up on sale every now and then. Refurb on sale even cheaper.
