Diana  Diana 34...What a difference!

Yes i don't want to permanently alter the stock so I'd use a slip over. I prefer originality.
That’s why my Diana 34 and FWB 124 don’t have Morgans on them. Slip on works fine, and yes, remove it after if you want to be sure it doesn’t affect the finish. And holy cow, I just realized who Pellets&Pistons is! Great channel. Sorry, life put our hobbies on about year and a half timeout so just getting back into the groove.

Diana  Diana 54 air king pro 7.5J

If looking to have a detuned 54 Airking. I would have a look for a 22mm piston kit and a weaker spring. The 12 fpe UK market 54’s use a restrictor washer in combination with the same spring I currently have in my rifle. .115 wire , rather than the .130 with in the FAC models. I believe the spring length is also shorter in both the factory detuned models 7.5 J and the 12fpe . I was able to disassemble without a spring compressor and it had about 1” of preload.

Great 1-8 lpvo cheap

Where are you finding the rt-6 @ $200 ever place I see them they are $300 plus? Most places uper $300's
If you're not in a hurry, they come up on sale every now and then. Refurb on sale even cheaper.

What did you do airgun related today.

Out at the range with my TX200 and resently fitted Aztec Emerald 5.5x25-50. What a difference a good scope makes.

I did the rough sight in from 10-55 yards . Then shot some field target .

The side wheel is a 3D printed part and it cracked and my side wheel came loose so I called it a day.

It’s an easy fix. With JB weld and a metal band.

On the 3rd pic I was like where is the rifle. Oh he's showing off his bench , and range. Very nice. Lol

FX  FX Dreamline regulator issue

If you rifle is only a month or so old, you might give the vendor a call, or email, explain the situation and learn what they can do for you. I know Utah Airguns is a Service Center for FX and if nothing else you might consider discussing the situation with them. While the gun is under warranty it is better to have a shop do the repair and not void your warranty.

“Knock Knock”…Who’s there…It’s you Lady USPS Driver…I have another Gun for you …Do I Shoot First and asks for Identification Later…She says she has a Gun…lol..So I bought another Crosman 38T..but this one was in .22cal…It was a barn rat for sure..filthy dirty and sticky…what would I expect for $60 dollars…. I gave it a oil bath and kept cycling it …I dropped in a CO2 Cartridge…I couldn’t believe it..it freaking hold air…so I loaded it up..not liking that part..round nose keep rolling over backwards..sent a few down range to clear the barrel and tweak the sights in…I had some slugs that I ordered for another gun…they were sized to .2165…21 grains..so they were a little loose…I sent those down range…they made paper..lol..time to get serious now and try out these FX Pellets..15.9 heavy hitter’s…put the one eyed patch on..and air mailed them out without postage due…lol…the target will speak for itself …first target is with slugs ..2nd were FX

Diana  Diana 34...What a difference!

Noce leather ones at amazon under 35$ .. or more if you wanted to 😁

Quick example store

I like the leather! I put a rubber one on an old shot gun and it sorta changed the finish but better than damaging it. Probably should take it off when not in use it suppose.

Diana  Diana 34...What a difference!

You chose well, the 34 is a real classic! It can be kinda plain looking, but Diana puts the good stuff where it counts: barrel, sights, trigger, and sturdy action.

I am NOT an expert on the 34 but did one for a friend with an ARH spring and Vortek piston seal and was happy with the result. But I would also agree that this could wait given how well it shoots now!

I'm not arguing against the no-slip butt, but as a point of interest - "no-buttplate" is a traditional German Look. At a recent gun show I saw a Merkel shotgun with a 4-figure price tag and bare wood at the back...!

This might help with your kit installation should you decide to go that route. The 34 is a classic. There's a reason that it remained in production for so long.

I watch your videos often. I look forward to watching them, thanks for taking the time!

New to HFT and looking for advice on Pellets

We us Nockover targets at Mass Rifle. They fall well up to 20fpe. They are made for 12fpe, but handle 20fpe without issue. They also lock up harder the harder you hit them, no luck on splits. They are made for 12fpe, but handle 20fpe without issue. The limit is doubly for target life, and target cost.

Daystate  How long does Daystate support its electronic components before 'killing' the support?

Curious: When did Daystate introduced its first electronically equipped PCP? And is it still supporting that model's electronics? (i.e. replacement parts.) Or did it kill support? If Daystate killed support, how many years after introduction did it kill support?

This matters as there's chatter about electronics becoming obsolete and support dropped. The mechanical parts can last decades so the electronics support matters.

Thanks

I wasn't sure why the 20ft/lbs limit was in place in the first place. I did not know whether it was to protect targets or an effort to allow less powerful guns to compete against the more powerful PCP's that happen to have much higher pressures. This clues me in.
Prob a bit of both. The sub12 may have issues with heavier paddles needed to support 20+ fpe.
