HW/Weihrauch  I have my HW50 tuned great,at first I hated it because it did not perform the way people were bragging about it.

Good to hear you have your hw50s shooting well. My hw50s in .177 is my favorite spring gun. Just right in terms of size and weight, relative to power. I always get optimal accuracy when I tune to somewhere between 10fpe and 11fpe.

GX CS4-I question(s)

I have experienced a Cpl shutdowns with mine. Mine seemed to all be resistance related. If I open the valve on my scba too fast, even if the gx pressure is above the scba when I open the valve it will shut off the compressor. I built a one way valve inline so I could just open my scba valve up, start the gx and the one way valve would open when pressures equalized. It worked fine once and the the next time shut the compressor down when that one way opened up. Trash canned that valve and now just open manually slowly and it works fine. The auto shut off on these things is very sensitive/finicky in my experience.

Skout  Everything Skout EVO and Epoch

Hey everybody, I have a dumb question. I don’t have access to a can of pellets at the moment, but does anybody know what the standard diameter and thickness of a can of JSB pellets are?
Apparently, nobody’s measured one online because it only comes up with Pellet sizes
I just wanna know a standard size can not the big ones
thanks 🙏

Other  Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro Radar Chronograph

I did but didn't get those two, thanks! The fact that someone has found it picks up other shooters in a bench situation is a bit worrying, my FX will very occasionally pick up another shooters shot on the bench but not often, I am just surprised that airgun shooters don't seem to be reviewing them.

30-Yard Challenge

Shot 5 cards today. Light wind at 8:30am, one near flag deployed.

Shot three 30 yard cards and two 40Y Masters. The 40Y Masters were 185’s, so therew them in the range bin.

RAW TM1000x .177
Sightron ED 45x Fixed
FX 13.4g Pellets

197-16X 30Y Masters
199-15X 30 Challenge

200-20X 30Y Masters ( LEADER BOARD)
If I counted all 24 bulls, it would be a 240-20X

I have a pellet probe alignment issue that occurs too frequently. May send the action back to Martin to check pellet probe and alignment. Way too many fliers and I think the pellet is getting ‘tilted’ going into chamber.

It’s under warranty, so I may just call Martin and see if he will take a look see.

This gun is a laser if I could fix the pellet loading issue.

Great card Tommy !!

You cannot submit as a Masters, as you shot more than 20 targets.

You have 20X scores on Target Pairs #4, 5, 6 and 7.

Submitting the card as a 30-Challenge, you drop two of the 20X pairs.

This would score your card as a 30-Challenge of 200 18X…

… do you agree?

Black wolf prices

Utter ridiculousness. I will get back to the redwolf. What @CoyoteGod said is exactly what was noodling around in my head and the point I think I was trying to convey. Daystate seems to have ripped the technology from the ghost and put it in a traditional rifle format. Nothing wrong with that kudos 👍. However, they put a price tag on it as if they had ripped the tech of the alpha/delta wolf and put that into the blackwolf. I wish they had done just that believe me. I’d be lining up for the BW if that was what daystate had done. I hope one day they do just that. I’m no engineer (obviously..lol) so maybe doing that would be astronomically expensive??
As far as the redwolf is concerned that price is crazy. In my opinion it has been left behind in the electric gun world. The redwolf completely defeats the beauty of having an electro, having complete and easy control over exactly what the gun is doing. What do you get with a redwolf? High , medium or low. That’s it unless you want to spend a bunch of extra money on a programmer that is not user friendly at all. Even then I’m pretty sure you can only manipulate the three settings leaving you three options. I wanted one for awhile but again really thinking about it naw. I hope the next daystate is a BW or RW with alpha/delta wolf tech in it. I’ll be handing them a wad of cash and maybe a few toes if I have too.

FX  New fx pistol?

Different subject but quick update. No silicone but not completely dry slug test still going quite well with that LW barrel. How long the gun sits has no ill effects as of late. Last night a dead mouse at 68 yards. First shot after several days. Today two starlings at 85 and 105. Not quite at 100 shots yet but so far so good.
Nice! I haven't been playing with the slug gun lately, I've been having fun tweaking some old crosmans and using the 25 dreamline for pigeons. I've needed less power at this squirrel property so my impact is off the table. Hence the curiosity on a pistol I might be able to afford vs a leshiy 2

FX  New fx pistol?

I have one and they are great. Don't have to worry about leaky Orings. Shoots near one hole groups at 10 yards and did not cost a small fortune. Also have an HW44 that will shoot one hole groups at 10 yards. Have killed numerous tree rats with both.
I've seen the old ones, the new one with a strip feed mag looks useful for killing squirrels under my friends 2k ft² of decking.

Orings worry too many people, it's really no biggy to me. The only one of my 6 PCPs to ever leak was my old mrod. Orings mean modular lego build, which I like. I can try home brew parts easily if I want to.

I tell most people not to buy an fx because I'm worn out on repeat questions, concerns, golden screwdriver events and them being mad that they can't figure it out and it's not perfectly tuned out of the box and making it's own ammo for the price.
