Lads, we poor non-slash owners need targets and strings (to decide whether we should become slash owners as well
). Thanks in advance!

I was just looking for some picatinny rings on PA and noticed some rings $150+, HOLY COW!, what in the world makes them so expensive? I normally use cheap pic rings and never had a problem, I was just wondering what in the world they do to rings to make them worth over $200! ???
Got one and love it. HOWEVER: it’s a tinkerer’s gun. And a temperamental one at that. She’s like the crazy/hot girlfriend that drives you nuts almost every day but boy oh boy is she a joy when she does not. I would never take her hunting though, she might shoot you in the shoulder just to see whether it’s funny or not. For hunting, you want the reliable girl you know since Pre-K, the one most moments feel like déjà vu with because she’s so predictable that you know exactly what she’s going to do next, every single time. Like an AGT (any) for example. There are also other FX that would be fine and many others if you are ok with carrying some weight around.I'm thinking about buying a FX M4 in .30 or .35 caliber for small game hunting and would love to get the thoughts of actual owners. Do you shoot slugs or pellets? How accurate is the rifle out to 150 yards? I've watched a few videos from Utah Air guns on prairie dogs hunts and they seem pretty awesome. Thanks for the input.
Thank you sir….Black GRIP CAP to fit Weihrauch HW77 & Most 80's / 90's Springers. Search under Weihrauch, for some reason AGN won't let me copy and paste the actual cite on eBay
I’m curious what you’re looking to do with your .177 set up? Needing or I guess wanting the high shot count for other reasons than not having to refill very often. I mean it’s really none of my business and I don’t mean to come across as judging, because I’m seriously not.I have .25 stuff covered well, and I think I have .22 down well enough at the moment (that can always change though, lol). But I’m considering a .177 PCP purely to have something with a high shot count per fill (200+). I realize shot count varies based on the tune, so if it helps I’d be happy with a tun that puts me anywhere from 12fpe up to 16fpe or so. The ability to tune higher would be nice in case things change, but I have lower fpe covered with a few Weihrauch springers. For the sake of this discussion and to keep things simple, let’s keep the tune to the 12-16fpe range.
I’m familiar with and enjoy BRK/Brocock, EdGun, and Taipan, and I’ve read a lot of good things about RTI, AGT, and several others. Those who’ve owned or shot these enough to know, how was the shot count per fill in this tune range? I’m strongly considering an RTI Prophet Performance, but I’m always open to other quality options as long as they net me a higher shot count. Doesn’t matter if it’s a single shot or repeater, if you’ve enjoyed a .177 that let you shoot a 250ct tin (or more) without needing to top up, I wanna hear about it!![]()
Even during the shot?At the pressure the plenum operates at ... 1 o-ring is a non issue IMO
.17 HMR from 100+ yards is easy, by the time they figure out what's happening, it's all over. I used a Savage A17.Bayonet, that’s a good one!
The two-yarder was a young, dumb one who came up to my shooting position. I didn’t use Strelok or even the scope, just by guess & by golly. That one took two shots.
Landowner said he’s tried rimfire but after one shot they all disappear for the day. I love my quiet and accurate rifle!
