new guy here and have a question

By the way, I don’t mean the better brands are not better. They definitely are Schmit & Bender even eight years after owning it you send it back they’ll fix it. The problem is I’ll take 4 to 8 weeks and I’ll probably cost you two to $400 depending on the parts you broke, but I don’t know this is just my experience.

new guy here and have a question

Well, I have really good luck with discovery scopes I did have one with the parallax broke off the third time. I tried to adjust it even though it was a few months after I purchased it because where I live, you can’t really be shooting too much in the winter I contacted the company and they told me don’t worry you send this proof that you purchased it and will send you another one after a week. I probably received a new scope which was great. I ask him what they wanted me to do with the broken one and they told me don’t worry about it just throw away he supposed it. We’re OK with that.

Edgun LESHIY 2 (Accuracy Issues)?

Why are all these people who went "all in" on Leshiy 2 packages selling them now?

Accuracy issues? .
Leshiy has 2 problems # 1 is the trigger, you have to get use to a quick pull as it's not something you can squeeze like any other gun. #2 the pellet/slug has to jump from a magazine into the barrel like a revolver effecting accuracy somewhat, though still accurate enough for hunting/pesting but just not a target "riffle".

Huben  PCP Progression - What was yours?

Airforce Talon SS 177, 22, 25 & 30cal barrels
Edgun Lelya in 177
Edgun Matador 2.5 in 177 (500+ shots at 12fpe)
USFT (blue used)
USFT (red new)
USFT (blue used)
Thomas FT Carbine #001 (used)- current WFTF & Hunter Pistol FT Comp rig
FX Impact M3 25cal
Thomas FT Carbine #293 (used/custom tuned)- current Open FT Comp rig
The 2.5 Matador, tell us more. I did not know .177 was available back then. Very interesting.

FX  Tensioned barrel for impact m4?

Hmnnnn - 6 gun, my understanding was that the tensioned rig clamps tight to the barrel, then the muzzle nut pushes the cf sleeve against it. Shroud spacers would essentially be pulling the barrel against the action block (where it’s only held in by a grub screw). Doesn’t sound fun.

Jman, the tensioned barrel kit comes with a replacement support block that clamps down, whereas the stock block has orings and the barrel slides right through.

Fist pic is a tensioner, second is the m4 block (with locating pins)
The kit, plus a cf liner sleeve, is supposed to be killer….

I use the o-ring method as well. I didn't know there were instructions, it seemed like the best solution to me.

Other  AirForce Texan Regulator

When those regulators came out there was a pretty confusing incident where a user lose sight for a little time filling his gun , meaning that he went out of the room. The regulator Exploded, and the youtuber that was making the promo Upnortairgunner , simply burn the product. But in his review of the reg it was doing awesome numbers and small spread .. after that nobody seems to dare to try to use them at least i never heard from them again it here . N since like for a $100+ more a external reg could be purchased i got 2 n didn't give a second thought to buy one of the Trajectron regs again.
There was some buzz around a regulator explosion involving a Trajectron unit, and UpNorthAirgunner reportedly pulled back hard after initially praising its performance. The details are murky, but it seems the issue stemmed from a fill mishap—possibly leaving the gun unattended during a high-pressure fill, which is always risky regardless of brand2.

Here’s the thing: any regulator, especially one handling 300+ bar, demands respect. If tolerances are off, seals fail, or the user deviates from safe fill procedures, things can go sideways fast. That said, Trajectron still sells regulators and other gear, and some users report solid performance—especially with their dual-gauge setups and larger plenums I myself use an external regulator for many reasons listed.
Regulator & Gauge Setup – Built for Pressure, Tuned for Precision

Running the Bauer REG-0039 inline regulator—rated for up to 6000 PSI input and adjustable from 1000 to 6000 PSI output. It’s got:

  • ¼" NPT female inlet/outlet
  • Dual gauge ports (gauges not included)
  • Rugged construction, field-tested durability
  • Repair kit available (KIT-REG) for long-term serviceability
Paired with a liquid-filled stainless steel gauge, made in the USA, with:

  • ¼" NPT bottom stem inlet
  • Dual-scale readout: 0–7500 PSI / 0–510 BAR
  • Direct replacement for Bauer GAG-0070W
This setup’s been rock solid for my Texan .308 tuning sessions—no drama, no leaks, just clean pressure control and easy diagnostics. If your regulator sounds like it’s wheezing or your gauge is fogging up like a bathroom mirror, this combo might be the upgrade your bench deserves.

new guy here and have a question

i have been a power burner shooter for 45 years and have scopes over 6k i know how to adjust a scope thanks for the info.
Well I have been a competitive pb shooter for 15 years longer than you, in fact just got done loading shells for a match on Sunday. Take any group of shooters and I will bet not 50 percent of them know how to adjust their scope properly, just saying.

Is lubricating pellets necessary?

I went out today and was shooting a 6 mm rod from 50 yards from a bench with my HFT-500 the 6mm rod is the smallest of targets in the line from 50mm on down .
Then I was shooting a paper target from 45 yards for groups of ten shots.

I have to laugh . The lube did better I guess.

Not scientific but on the 6 mm rod I could hit it one in three times. I could see it going past the target but with the lube when it hit it hit and spun the target. Without the lube it more likely nicked the target more than a good hit.

On paper it’s a dime size group with both. But as the wind picked up the lubed moved just a little left. The non lubed had a flyer or it was me. That’s just the first test. I’m going to keep shooting them side by side with the dry pellets.

N/A  Springer Accuracy tip.

An adjustable buttpad really helps me,long neck. Also I can relax more on my hold because buttpad now rests on my shoulder better.Because the buttpad is now lower, which rises the rifle, I do not have to bend my neck as much, and I get a better sight picture. So it does two things for me,more comfortable and better sight picture.
