Pellet Groups at 100 yards

To be even more humbled. Shoot one shot in bull #1, then move to bull #2, then #3, #4 and #5 then back to bull #1 and repeat. End up with 5 shots per bull, 25 shots in total, in 20 minutes. Then see if any of your bulls are MOA?
Yes, and this was my point in another recent post with someone posting great groups at 100 yards. I think it’s much easier to shoot 5 shots at one bull, vs. shooting one shot per bull and rotating.

Not so easy to claim MOA for 25 shots doing it this way.

PCP Rifle  NLA Rare AGT Vulcan 2 in .177

If you know AGT rifles, you know these are extremely hard to come by. From what I can tell, just a handful was brought into the states. This particular rifle is in excellent condition with zero leaks or problems and I can’t find a mark on it. Regulator is rock solid and she’s extremely accurate with 10g Jsb’s and the 10gr KO slugs. I’ve taken pigeons out to 93 yards with ko’s and tons of birds 60 yards and in with the pellets. The below video was taken at 65 yards with the slugs and the picture was 5 shots with the JSB pellets at 40 yards.

I believe it’s close to being the perfect all around rifle, but I’m needing a folding rifle to carry around in a backpack for a portion of my bird abatement (specifically something that fits in a cherry bomb backpack) If not for that aspect of my job, this rifle would not be up for grabs. The rifle will come with two mags ,fill probe and hard case. Scope NOT included, but can be for additional $. Anyone is welcome to send a message and I’ll give you my number to discuss the rifle at length.

Will trade for a Katran C/CB in 177/22 or a BRK Pathfinder in .177.

FX  FX crown leak.

Hi,
Since the only path for air to get to the barrel is through the valve and valve seat, I expect something is still wrong. From the sound of your initial problem I expect that there was damage done to the receiver block by the hammer (may have been happening for a while and the damage was simply accumulating).

I had this happen to a Crown Mk II I bought used and made the mistake of dry firing to empty the plenum of air when I first got it. I didn't realize that the previous owner had put in a 26g hammer weight and had the internal hammer adjuster maxed out. The aluminum around the hole the valve pin stuck out of was deformed and caused the vale to jam and not seat properly, blowing all of the air out of my rifle. The only solution was to send back to FX USA (at the time) where they redrilled out the valve pin passage.

I expect that your valve pin passage has been damaged and that is what is keeping your new valve pin from properly seating in your new valve seat.

Sorry for the diagnosis! Though if there is a good machine shop near you they can probably use a honing tool to sort out the problem without having to redrill.

Cheers,
Greg

AEA  It is going to get CRAZY in the pcp big game air rifles!

I just saw where AEA has a 7000 psi powered hunting rifle. They already have a 7000 psi compressor that will be around $700 but
I have no idea what caliper the gun will be, but there for sale in Spain from what I hear. I myself would never buy something that powerful.
I do have a AEA .357 big bore for hog hunting, & that’s all I need. I think it is great, to see big game hunters being exposed to air rifles
though. 🪰

What pellets to order?

I did not know that H&N and Hatsan were hooked up with one another. Thanks for the info. Do you know if any other retailers of airgun ammo are having problems getting product? What exactly does being the rep mean? Does Hatsan import all H&N ammo into the US and distribute the products to the retailers? I am not very business savvy, so I am not certain how it all breaks down.
They are the distributor.

What pellets to order?

Hatsan is the US rep for H&N

My last order was for Apolo .30 Air Boss pellets (20% off and free shipping). Wrapped tightly in bubble wrap, no damage.

How to switch calibre for Snowpeak M60B

I recently got a .25 calibre conversion kit from Wes of Air Gun Archery Fun and I was able to do the switch quite easily once I figured it how. I couldn't find any Youtube videos out there on how to do this so I decided to a video so it might be helpful for those who might want to change their calibre.

Simple procedure to swap out the barrel and fill probe.

Enjoy.

In the video the probe stopper comes out pretty easily, mine isn't doing so. Is it just a straight pull out or does it have to be aligned in a certain way somewhere?

Edit: figured out the missing step, there's a tiny grub screw that holds the probe stopper in. It's right around 3 minutes in this video.
Once that's out the pin and probe slide out easily.

If only I had the skill of a taxidermist!

I thought the consensus was not to consume urban or suburban coons. They eat too much trash and other potentially toxic "foods."
I would not eat any coon from a heavily populated area. I have seen pictures from the Kansas city area with hundreds of coons sitting around dumpsters. All you could see was their eyes glowing in the dark. I would be more afraid of diseases due to over population than toxic foods. Mark
