I mostly use jsb pellets in my 22 and 30 caliber guns because they just work. The 18 gr jsb 22 pellets shoot the same poi as the 25 gr @ 50 feet in my RAW. And the 30 caliber pellets in 44 gr perform excellent in both my air rifles.
As others have stated Amazon is not the place I order anymore. I stick with pyramid or Utah.

As Im sure others have stressed, never ever order pellets from Amazon.

Trenier, TPS, AGD & PA are all better options.

Well I caved , mainly because I wanted to see what the internals of the 54 airking look like. Now I’m searching for a full power piston and spring. I got a real good deal on a 7.5J model up here in Canada. I sent hector a message asking if he had some parts. If anyone knows where I can find a piston assembly. Let me know. Thanks

I've shot 25 cal in one of my Impacts and my Wildcat MK3. Each has a 600 mm barrel and shoots exceptionally well with pellets at 100 yards. I have another impact I use for 100 yd BR competition and it has a 700 mm barrel which I recommend in this caliber. If you are leaning toward .25 caliber, I would get the Impact Standard with the 600 mm barrel. Personally, I've tried slugs and you will likely have to make some major tuning changes to shoot these well. I've never had much confidence in them and prefer to shoot pellets. They are very accurate at up to 100 yds (except .177 cal) and will satisfy your hunting requirements.

Glad you have your hw95 shooting well! l've had to go through a similar routine with all of my new Weihrauchs. Remove OEM spring, seal and lubes. Replace with an ARH spring kit, Vortek seal and properly re-lube. And I've always gotten better accuracy by tuning down the power.

I can't help you with cheap and accurate. But if I had to bet on getting accuracy without testing, I would get the 10.3 in .177, and the 18.1 in .22, with both coming from either AA or JSB. There have been other private label brands that came from JSB, and they are usually good too.

Pellets from Amazon will almost be guaranteed to be damaged. Pyramyd is a good source but have become kinda spendy even though you get one free when you order 4. I suggest you order from Trenier AIrguns. Jeff packs them well, ships fast, and his prices are great! For .177 cal, I like JSB or FX pellets. I don't know what kind of rifle you are shooting, so you should pick the right weight. For .22, the same applies. JSB 18.1 gr seems to be the gold standard. AEA pellets are becoming very popular due to their accuracy and very clean appearance. I use them for my .30 cal 100 yd shooting.

To align a scope to a rifle barrel using a mirror, follow these steps based on the method described in the context:

1. Use a large full-body mirror and set it up at a distance of about 5 yards. Adjust the scope to 10 yards (or when it is focused in the mirror).

Nice find indeed ! i bought two (used /rebuilt ) from CMP . Gave one away , thinking of buying another , What a beautiful rifle , and even my 7 year old neighbor can shoot it . EDIT mine are not repeaters / single shot , oops

Really, i did not realize it UNTILL 4 very big boxes arrived at my door , , that is 80 tins total and i sold 60 tins @$1 each to some very happy people .

Springers will always have a market.
People afraid of compressed air.
People on a limited budget.
People that dont want to drag pumps or tanks.
Simplicity.

But by design the springer is limited. Not a lot to innovate there. So few moving parts .

Nice review, and thanks for the information. It's kind of disappointing to have that much power but nothing much to apply it to, nor a way to shoot ammo that would work at more reasonable power levels . . . it seems that all of the variants of semi-autos that shoot out the magazine have the magazine as a huge constraint on what can be fed to the barrel. I was excited to see that the Slash has two different mag sizes to help with this issue, but it seems they did not get it right, at least for launch. Hopefully they will correct it going forward

That did some damage. In my group only kills shot in the head or neck can be counted, just saying, lol.
