N/A  QD Fox magazines: User opinions

They may look the same but they certainly do not load the same. Orion mags, that I own for my Prophet are not easy to load and the internal disc must be rotated precisely to reveal each hole to insert a pellet through the hole in the outer plate. While my AGT (FOX) mags have a removable top cover, held in place by magnets. Once the outer ver has been removed the mag internal wheel is rotated until it stops, drop a pellet in to hole to hold it in place, then fill all the other holes easily. I prefer the Fox mags to the OEM AGT mags, for ease of loading and they function flawless.
Huh? This is my Orion AGT mag. Removable top and it doesn't jam like OEM and Eagle Vision mags in my U3.

Umarex  Notos not feeding

I have a notos .22 fully upgraded to a fx liner carbon fiber barrel. Brass valve with 4mm opening, hammer weight. Plenum and plenum extemsion from c88. And i recently upgraded my air tank to 2 oem notos air tanks put together. But as soon as i got them in, my magazines started jamming, not sure what could be happening. It cycles 2 or 3 pellets and then jams. Any help?

Please welcome Corbin to our list of fine sponsors!!

And they are located in Oregon, my neck of the woods. I see (or am hopeful of) a factory tour one of these days. Maybe when I pick up a rig after I have found what shoots best out of the setups...that I still need to learn and develop so it may be a bit. You have more than enough time to clean up the place. lol I keed.
Swing on by!!

AEA  Bintac S45 .357 valve pin issue

Hi all.
I bought a pre-owned S45, for cheap with a air leak from the barrel.
The previous owner told me that it needs a new valve pin, so i changed the pin but it,s still leaking and shooting in full auto mode.
I noticed that there is no valve seat inside the housing, is that normal for this type of gun ?
The valve pin is now closing against the bare metal from the housing .

FX  Sekhmet Customer Support - Update & Assistance

Seems you commented without watching the video or reading in detail.
1. I did mention it was properly installed. I am a technician.
2. I also mentioned that when I swapped then around (reg to main), still only the one worked.
3. It is clearly a common issue for RMA as it is highlighted in their top 3 RMA issues.
4. They did not change as they have ignored my email so far.

Sheridan  Weird issue with old push button safety Sheridan blue streak, NEED HELP!

So I recently acquired an old Sheridan with the janky push button safety you have to hold while firing and it’s got a weird problem going on. So the rifle pumps and holds air all day and the trigger system works flawlessly; however, when I fire the gun the air escapes out of the breech/bolt area. It’s missing the little cam plate cover but I wasn’t sure if that was the only thing causing it. It seems like there’s more to it than that but so far I’ve only worked on old crosman and Benjamin pistols so this model is completely new to me. I attached a photo and video, it’s hard to tell what it’s doing in the video but ALL the air is escaping out of the breech. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Zulus non lrf

I got my Zulus V2 Friday and set it up yesterday. Not sure I'm a fan of the built in memory. I did the firmware update and then received a memory card error (with no way to swap it for a good one) and it wouldn't record. Luckily, I was able to clear it by rebooting the scope and it all seems to be working well now, but what happens if it fails in the future? I like the new menu system, but not sure why they had to flip-flop all the controls on the top of the scope, it makes it confusing when you have a couple Zulus V1's and know where the buttons are and what they do! I haven't compared the video recordings yet, but I don't really notice a big difference with the internal view. I'm not sure it's worth the extra $100 for the V2.

Another oddity... The 21700 batteries that come with it are just a tad narrower than the 21700 batteries sold on Amazon. I have ordered two separate sets of 21700 batteries and both sets won't fit in the battery compartment of the Zulus V2. So, if these batteries that came with the V2 die, you may be out of luck ordering replacements from anywhere but DNT! And, if the memory dies or gets corrupt, and it's outside the warranty, it may be an expense to replace it if it has to be sent in to do so. The one positive I found, it does connect to my phone a lot better than the V1, but so far that's the only real improvement I'm seeing... I kind of regret getting the V2, and I wish I had just spent the few dollars more and gotten the V1 LRF model.
I have to agree with your misgivings. The refresh rate seems less than the v1 products, that alone is a great minus. My screen video looks nothing like some footage I've seen on YT. Unless there are some settings that need tweaking......

I wasn't going to address the "similar" design of Fox mags to Orion. I think it is no coincidence, and I belive Orion has done a ton of work providing original designs. You shouldn't need to spend a lot of time and money protecting your own work. As airgun enthusiasts we should respect each other's work.

2025 N50 here I come (Raton, NM)

In August I will be heading to Raton, New Mexico for the National N50 benchrest contest. I was able to attend the first two events, then missed the next two due to Life.

I just finished making plans for this year and got some practice in. Light wind was enough for me to re-learn the flags. 3 cards scored with the plug (usually for practice I score myself raw with the pellet hole). Have some room for further improvement. When I can shoot raw and get these scores, I will feel accomplished.

245 13x

249 15x

249 16x

The contest pits the very best pellet guns, slug guns and .22lr rimfire guns against each other in a multiple day, multiple heat match up. This is a Marathon type of event, not a sprint through two cards while the wind is behaving to see who is the luckiest in lane draw and time slots.
Good luck Jim
