No I haven't. This is my first non Asian gun. First dual regulator gun. So I probably didn't word that correctly. It is a very consistent shooting gun, that i know. The consistency is what impresses me. It goes hole in hole one after another, and the fps stays even. My other guns will go hole in hole, but for a few shots then they move. The air hammer, and dual regulators work fantastic together. Ive shot aea 34gr pellets and altoros 60gr slugs both at 920fps, both were very accurate. Now I have it set for zan 45gr slugs ( haven't gone shooting yet with this set up) . Switching between different weight/ ammo is a breeze.ever shoot a fx panthera
if this is a junior how does that change the value?
That would be nice at our club but everyone is always in such a rush, me included sometimes, to get home. Clean up and get out.I got one of those little Webber grills for 20 bucks. The pot luck lunch will also bring out the wife and family and shoot all day after the match.
Hi Sadeq - haven't been able to say hello too you on FB. Got logged out and can't seem to log back in. Hope you're safe and looking forward to seeing you in Finland.Looking forward to seeing you in Finland Sadeq
25 yards, CPHP 14.3, wind likely under 10mph but higher when I zeroed for the wife. I don't recall how many shots taken. She learned that a black reticle on a black small target took an adjustment. Out of the family of 4, 3 liked and 1 firmly stated sticking with her Diana 34 (yes, teenage stuff). Can't shoot a pcp with a scope the same as a springer with irons. AN, I'm seriously consider letting go of my L2 to fund a Katran or Krait now. Oh, I'm steeling the wife's thunder in this posting. This is HER target and she wants to hold on to it:

Oh, yeah ... I have issue(s) with Airmaks and that put me off for the longest time, reg issues, and direct discussion from the top on their distribution treaties on a Krale sale fully available to US customers at the time. I absolutely said H E double toothpicks with Airmaks. I certainly made concessions as the Katran really is a perfect cross-over from the HW30 springer. The Krait was in the running for my next PCP after the Taipan Veteran 1 Compact.Congrats! I don't know why the Katrans are not more popular, at least on the forum. They're relatively cheap. I think the reg issues from the Kraits was bad PR for Airmaks. I would not hesitate to purchase one again now. They are light, sturdy and accurate. I've got a .25 LB that just drills Heavy Mk II's at 60FPE. I love the smooth solid feeling actions and being able to cycle them easily with a finger.
Nice shooting Jim, see you at RatonIn August I will be heading to Raton, New Mexico for the National N50 benchrest contest. I was able to attend the first two events, then missed the next two due to Life.
I just finished making plans for this year and got some practice in. Light wind was enough for me to re-learn the flags. 3 cards scored with the plug (usually for practice I score myself raw with the pellet hole). Have some room for further improvement. When I can shoot raw and get these scores, I will feel accomplished.

The contest pits the very best pellet guns, slug guns and .22lr rimfire guns against each other in a multiple day, multiple heat match up. This is a Marathon type of event, not a sprint through two cards while the wind is behaving to see who is the luckiest in lane draw and time slots.
There has been an explosion of cottontails in Central Minnesota this year. Are there cycles in cottontail populations? Nice shooting by the way. I've yet to try out the GK1 platform yet. Looks like fun!!
I mean it would be betterThat’s like putting a mustang engine in a corvette.![]()
Well said. Meanwhile I can still go swap a welding cylinder out at get something that's been in service since the 40s. Thread damage has been the only composite cylinder failure mechanism I've seen, and hydro will do it.If you know you have a convenient and reasonably priced place to get your tank filled then and only then does it make sense, in my opinion, to buy a DOT approved tank. My issue is just that the technical basis for the DOT regulations was never great and has now essentially been disproved. The Navy proved that the regulations are grossly conservative. But they are laws and commercial establishments that fill expired tanks could get in trouble.
If you do not have place to get your tank filled, then I don't see why it makes sense to pay extra to get a DOT approved tank. A Chinese tank approved to European standards or an expired fireman's bottle seems to me to be a better way to spend money. Tests have demonstrated there is a lot of margin in carbon fiber reinforced tanks. The biggest cause of failure in Navy tanks was damage to the threads of the tests caused by hydro testing. No injuries no catastrophic failures. LOTS of experience.
Until somebody forces DOT to pull their head of their behind we are stuck with this silly situation.
