Do you own the Canadian model?

Why not post how easy it is to get full power as you say?

I see you joined April 10 2025........How are those Canadian units selling up there in Canada? LOL
All you have to do is drill out the aluminum plug in the power adjustment set screw then take the plug out of the valve. It certainly wasn't rocket science.... as if they would make a special model just for gay assed canada....... numbnuts.

Check out this 300fps $2,200 TURD! :rolleyes::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Official Thread - Alkin owners - check in!

I use a dryer plug on mine, and have it connected with a splitter. The yellow with green I connected to ground then the other two dont matter as they are both hot as I understand it. Just cant run the dryer and compressor at same time. I also use a 220v 30A cord that I use for my floor sanding machines.

N/A  Cheapest option for groundhogs

.25 is more forgiving but .22 is definitely capable if placement is good. I learned on a AT44, .22. Got me out to 70ish yards (what I was comfortable with at the time). Some of the newer, less expensive guns now easily outshoot the AT44. Keep posting & Keep watching the classifieds. Sooner or later you'll find something better.

favorite gun/cal for South Florida iguana hunting

Hey all. Im new here and looking to upgrade from a cheap Umarex .177 to a PCP for iguana hunting. My dilemma is between .22 and .25. The .177 has done great over the years (well over 1000 iguanas) but struggles with the big boys. Looking for a tactical or bullpup style with a larger carbon bottle that's accurate and quiet. What are you guys using?
@JaceSpace1369 Uses a .177 Krait L. He says it’s the most quiet air gun without a moderator. I’m sure he’ll disagree with your statement of the .177 “Struggles with the big boys” iguana. 😂

moderator for zelos

I've tried a couple of moderators. I ultimately just chose the Bravo 3D baffles w/ no moderator because the length of the Zelos and accuracy. I am able to get a quarter size group at 50 yards.

Do moderators effect the trajectory or fps on an air rifle?

Having trouble seeing the reticle

Read the directions. Turn the parallex adjustment to infinity. Look at the sky off a solid rest or at a solid white wall. Adjust the rear( ocular) lens until the crosshair are very black. Now aim at a target at your shooting distance and adjust the parallex knob for s nice sight picture. Now here is where the difference shows up from higher end scopes to budget models. Once you have done this, rifle on a solid rest, look at your target and move your head a little. Crosshairs should stay still. If they move a bit you must get rid of that movement for accurate shooting by fudging a bit with the parallels knob one way or the other. Often you now loose the crisp sigjt picture a bit in order to make the crosshairs remain still on the target with a bit of head movement.

Having trouble seeing the reticle

One of the best FFP scopes for good reticle size is the Athlon Helos 2-12×42.

New to air guns

Disclaimer: I'm an air rifle noob. Got my first just a few weeks ago. But I did a fair bit of research beforehand.

I have been told FX would be the way to go,
A couple of years ago, I was at the range and spotted three guys shooting air rifles. One of them was shooting an FX Impact M3 that got my attention. I struck up a conversation, and he let me shoot it.

FX Impact M3.jpg

I put 5 pellets in the same single pellet-sized hole at 25 yards. Oh boy! I gotta get one of those! Then I learned it was about $2100 just for the rifle. So, that dampened my enthusiasm for a couple of years. Then recently, I started looking back into it.

FX it NOT a first time gun . Personally i would highly recommend a Marauder , a good solid performer .
I ended up with a Marauder (regulated) with Lothar barrel and could not be happier. Based on my subsequent research, I'm glad I didn't get an FX Impact as my first air rifle. Mind you, I'm very mechanically-inclined, own a fair number of firearms and have built a half dozen pistols. I'm still glad I got the Marauder as my first foray into PCP air rifles.

Good to know about FX guns. I am pretty good mechanically. My budget is around $2500.
Does the $2500 include ALL the things you need to go with the gun? For my Marauder ($780 for just the rifle) and all the "accoutrements" including a good scope ($480), a "mini" fill tank ($430), extra magazines, pellets, etc.... I spent $2250.

My budget is around $2500. I would like to use the gun target practice and eventually hunting.
I will say that the Marauder is a hefty rifle and would not be much fun hauling around if you're hunting on foot. With the scope, mine weighs in at 10-lbs 13-oz. Nevertheless, I think it would be a very good choice as a first PCP air rifle. It's super accurate. It looks nice (I got the wood stock). But no, it's not "tacti-cool." I've got other toys to satisfy my need for tacticool.... ;)

I put a bipod on the Marauder for bench shooting at the range.

I've had it to the range only twice so far. Hope to go again this weekend. Here are some cherry-picked targets from my 2nd trip:

Consider the Marauder as a starting point and learning tool... then you'll know more and make a smarter decision on the next "tacticool" Ferrari air rifle.
OK... that's my pitch from a noob. Lots of very and far more knowledgeable people here than me! A good forum.

Good luck with your quest for the FIRST of which will likely be more air rifles!
