Cabela's portable shooting table

It depends on what you're looking for. If you would be satisfied shooting off of a plastic, folding table that you would find at almost any church social go for it. The only advantage the cabellas table has is the cut out for you to sit in.
Personally, I would go to Lowe's and buy a 2ft x 4ft folding table for around $50.00.
Not a bad idea Thanks, i hadn't thought of that. Found one at Menards for $35.00. If I go with that will have to add leg extensions to get a bit more height. Will leave me a few dollars for a front adjustable rest too.

Please welcome Corbin to our list of fine sponsors!!

I have been swaging with Corbin equipment now for over two years. Fantastic equipment and company. They have taken care of my airgun needs as well as my long-range target muzzleloader needs. Kelly and his team are very knowledgeable and friendly professional people who genuinely care about taking care of their customers! Best of all they don't just sell to shooters they are shooters!! I don't know how many of the people at Corbin are airgunners but I know Kelly is.
A big Welcome from ND!
Thank you! We are growing, changing and evolving. We appreciate the support and patience.

I had the privilege of spending some time with Kelly & Travis (Owner / Manager of Corbin) at RMAC 2025. They are both rock solid humbly awesome guys.

From my understanding AirMarksman and some high profile ballista-tician's have been working with Corbin to design this new line of projectiles. 🤘

Here's a closer look at the S-Press in action

This was such a fun moment! Were excited to share the entire story about this slug from start to finish!

FX  Sekhmet Customer Support - Update & Assistance

I bought two 28mm Gen 2. Such a dissapointment to have one read 0 bar. Seem from your FAQ that you are aware of the issue. Then why dont you test them before sending anywhere? It is all fine and dandy that you will replace, but there is still return shipping cost and all the other incoivinince and time wasted.

Proper quality control would solve all of this. But that is not something you company obvious cares about. Otherwise there wont be so many post with the same exact problem, meaning is it quite common.

I am brand new customer and already dissapointed with your company. Just a quick search in this forum and I am far from the only one.
PS: I think it is very greedy that you would have customer pay extra money for a seperate cable for updating firmware. I have never seen anything like that before in my life. You make new firmwares to fix bugs that you have left in your software. So why then would you charge customers to be able to get it fixed with a custom USB cable which BTW is not available in most of your EU vendors also no warning about ordering it. So have to pay extra 15usd to get if from you directly from US, plus shipping of course and then the customs duty. How can you consider yourself customer centric with something like this. The two guages that I bought 2 days ago have firmware from 2023 on them. Just poor, very poor.

Here are 3 pages of a customer who you seriously maltreated and you would not even comment in the thread. I wish I had searched here before buying anything from your brand.
They have actually very much upped their game in customer service. I had the same issue on my 25mm gauge when I first installed it. Turned out I over tightened it and that was why it read zero. 🤦‍♂️. Just something to check.

30-Yard Challenge

Not much wind so I gave the 30-yard challenge a go. I had to sight in after messing around at 100 yards. I ended up with my best target yet! I had to hold at 7 oc on the 9 ring. I was too chicken to crank the knobs!! This might be the best I can do...we will see.

Cabela's portable shooting table

Does anyone have or have had the opportunity to use one of these ? The Cabela's portable table, $79.99. Thanks for your feedback !
I have a Caldwell stable table lite, with built-in chair. It has a plastic top and it is slick as mentioned above. I had to put a sheet of grip tape on it.

What pistol did you shoot today

you are are Wealth of Knowledge my friend…I appreciate your comments…my 2 biggest heroes in this department’s are …Bob Munden and Jerry Charles Miculek Jr….I also picked up a couple of Crosman Shiloh and a couple of Peacemaker 44…the Shiloh can’t do a fanning …not sure about the peacemaker yet…thanks Marker
Oh, one more thing. Even with the gun all set up, be prepared to blast through several thousand rounds before you can reliably hit anything by hipshot-fanning 🙂👍

Airforce  Taxen 457 tank question

Blue thread lock is okay. No heat required to remove. But I have seen red permanent loctite used. I have used blue on screws in high vibration locations. Especially back when i had break barrels. I also swap out the Allen hex heads for torx heads. Too easy for hex to strip out under stress. The quality of screws is sometimes less than optimal. Torx are significantly more reliable.
unfortunately, I used blue thread lock and its acting like red thread lock :(

Got me one of my feed thieves

do you have any experience with the Diana 54 air king? is it actually
recoilless?.. I really liked the Diana 48..
Mark
i do not, i did have a mid 90's model 54, but it was not an air king. and it would
break an average scope in a heart beat !!

i love my 92 model 48/52 in .177, its a 20fpe accurate hunter and a pleasure to shoot...... (y)

Sheridan  Sheridans FPS V # of Pumps V caliber V pellet weight or choice

i cut my teeth on a Sheridan .20; but now my entire childhood identity may be at risk as it may have been a Benjamin-Sheridan.
The therapy is going to be long and cost me more than a Blackwolf scoped. o_O
I will read this with great interest over the next week.

Crosman  Best mods to make 1322 quieter and easier to pump?

Was hoping to keep it under $200-250, I'll be keeping my eye on the members marketplace here for good deals too. I just thought .22 would be more humane/stopping power, and potentially quieter(at least on the breaknecks we started off with).

Yes definitely headshots only. I will probably make another post later about budget quiet PCPs(storm rider, gamo arrow, urban, flash, etc). Pumping and breakneck is too hard for my dad to do, so I don't mind hand pumping a PCP every week or so for him.
10 days and 10 posts to be on the Classifieds , if you did not read the rules yet .

Thanks. I like those sorts of projects.
I have the Peacemaker, can’t say I’m any good fanning it. To do that I’d need to mod it.
Never had a Shiloh. You’ll have to tell us how that works out.
I did get a Barra Schofield, and it’s a heavy slug of metal. Much slower than the Colt to draw.

Anyway, you mentioned Bob Munden … might be fun to set up a balloon at 10yds and see if you can hit it with a quick-draw. Something a bit more interesting than plain ol’ target shooting, eh?

Beeman  Crow magnum .20 inbound

I found a solution and best part is I had them in my collection of parts. I used a set of factory Theoben Rapid mounts. Sure they don’t have the dampening and are solid but they do fit perfectly and I now have plenty of clearance. The Nikon scope should hold up fine as they were designed for Springer use.
Now to put some pellets through it and break it in .
