AEA challlenger nova.177 loves seneca hunting pellets, whats everyone else using?

We also had 20mph wind while I was shooting, maybe wind was pushing everything off target and the seneca on target? Have to try again in calmer weather.
I have to say I was shocked, my .25 does ok with seneca but loves apolo 33gr slugs, and my marauder in 177 shoots anything and does exceptionally well with nsa slugs, the seneca won't fit the magazine on the marauder.
I'm glad you found that Seneca that works. I have a little Crosman M4 .177 took me 6 months to find out it liked the JSB RS EXACT 7.33 with 10 pump's.

new guy here,optics question

Perhaps some new members are intimidated at asking question in case there are negative responses? ;)
Well, the OP has already seen his first negative response -- mine. I feel a lot better now that I went out back and shot the living hell out of my targets. Sometimes that's all it takes to fix a wrong-side-of-the-bed day. I'm not usually so grumpy.

Newbie (with physical limitations) needs your Experienced Input/Confirmation Please

Ok. As far as the Sig M17 pistol goes it can done with one hand just turn the belt clip over to open it load pellets, and push into place with a tooth pick after breaking point off. The mag is drop free the belt clip ejects out , and the CO2 CARTRIDGE is punctured via a lever the only thing that's hard in this set up is to open that tin of pellets very hard to do one handed.lol.

How old are your 57s? I’ve been eyeing that model for a few years but their accuracy seems to be hit or miss with the older models. HW says they’ve cured the issues with the latest offerings of the 57, but there’s so little information on them out their from real world users.
I honestly cannot say how old they are. I have had them about 2 1/2 years. I got them from a dealer in the northeast and they were supposedly tuned by someone up in that region. I do remember looking him up and he seemed to have a good reputation as a tuner. When I got them there was no rear sight, which did not bother me as I installed a pair of Anchutz diopters on them. Accuracy I would say is good, not as good as some gun that are bigger and heavier, Most of my other guns have globe type front sights with changeable sight disks. These are a couple of the easiest cocking guns I have.

Fed-Ex lost another one! Just in case someone might see it

The shipper, in this case, has done everything possible to get this solved and has been on the phones as much as me. Just to talk to a person NOT in customer service, but in a claims depatment, was impossible and the claims dept. refused to talk with me until another claim is filed. Yes ...refused!! I would recomend that people insure their package for " Full Replacement" of the item. If they are going to treat customers this way, then make them pay for their mistakes since their "help" is severly lacking
Getting an actual person on the phone at fedex is a chore in itself

N/A  100yds groups ....No "White Lies"... No " B.S." ... just be honest ..

That’s great shooting!

I doubt I would keep all shots scoring 7 or better with 6-9 winds and 14mph gusts across as many targets as you shot.

My 100 yard shooting is almost always in those exact wind conditions you had (or worse in the spring) at my brother’s range. I don’t shoot enough sighters and recall that I usually have at least a few shots each session that are outside the 7-ring - when the wind gusts or changes and I miss the wind shift.

I use wind flags - but they are simple streamers - and often the wind changes before the change shows up on the streamers.

new guy here,optics question

I guess I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, but I think I can see the future of this thread. It goes on and on -- trying to HELP the orignal poster. I doubt that the original poster will ever give anyone here any feedback at all -- not answer a single question -- no response at all. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm sure tired of being right. We'll see. It makes me think all new guys are frickin' robot data collectors.

My first groundhog

You definitely “blurred“ that ground hogs face…🤓 Congratulations on your first and particularly on the patience and observation on your part.
With pesting in the yard, I learned that if an animal keeps coming back out, it's only a matter of time until I finally get it. I always kick myself when I take a less than ideal shot and let an animal get away wounded. So nowadays, I'd rather wait days, sometimes weeks, to get as perfect shot as I possibly can on an animal I've been hunting.

Other  father’s day stress shopping..

Did you get the mirror framed and if so what gun did you get?
i did get the mirror framed and i didn’t get a gun. after some consideration, i managed to come to my senses and realized k didn’t need a new gun. the guns i have now are perfectly fine for the distances im shooting. the rabbit holes are deep, my pockets do not compare.

i did order a zulus v2 🤭
