Finally got a chance to do some squirreling with the new girl.. I’ve got a 75y zero on it now so that’s the hold under, plus a little windage.

Went in behind one ear and out the other.View attachment 586431

FX  What causes regulator to be same pressure as the rest of the air tube?

AMP regs work fine, if you have a clue as to what to do and what NOT to do. IN the clue part, get the proper 0-rings, do not use silicon oil, use regular synthetic on the o-rings, and NO the gun won't blow up. Make sure you have THE latest brass parts. Match the Belleville washers for thickness, oil them too and a light polish on contact surfaces, I've written extensively on this, it's part of consistency, all Belleville's working equally. Do not try to decrease the pressure with out draining the system...BUT...and you didn't hear it from me...you can do it in very small increments quickly after firing, enough to fine tune. Neither of my Mavericks have had a lick of problems with reg creep over shot strings This graph is from my Maverick .25 a few weeks back, I don't remember when I rebuild the regs last.

Stressing on Rifle Cases, here's a soft case that actually fits

I've got a few of the soft backpack rifle cases off Amazon and love them. Even with fx guns I don't suffer poi shift in those and I bring one of them to work daily. I'm not big on removing optics or moderators to fit a case.
This one was is killer for my bullpups.
Still use for my impact. Hauling a giant pelican everywhere is no fun.
Thick padding. Double rifle.compartment. not floppy or flimsy, backpack, briefcase сarry or slung. Never had issues. Pockets sre strong secure and padded as well

shooting paper targets

Garden sprayer reaches high ..

Then if there that much out of the way then why am i messing with thrm to start ? Lol.. just looking for trouble for nothing better to do?
long stick and poke it.. or throw rocks at it like my daughter did when she was little 🤣🤣

N/A  Newbie looking to buy used complete set up

Pcp and night time pesting, will require you to have a compressor and a NV scope. Your budget gonna be triple of what you indicate. You’ve been warned :)
A compressor is nice to have, but there are a lot of guns that can be hand pumped if you don't mind a little exercise. Two of the three guns I have can be hand pumped with problem.
Now if a person is going to do a lot of shooting, hand pumping can get old pretty fast.

Tuning  Vulcan 3 fill issue

So I found the problem; there is a flathead countersunk screw and o-ring inside the fill block at the end of the air tube. The screw and o-ring are behind the tiny hole inside the fill port. The screw was loose and was cock-eyed. I tightened it down, reassembled everything, and now the air stays in the rifle after bleeding off.

Just saw this reply. I’ll have to try that and see if it works. I have to find that screw you are talking about. 👍🏻

Are the AEA Precision Center puch pellets that good?

I am ready to order some pellets, the AEA pellets cost more that the other pellets, just curious if users think they are worth the higher price.
Yes, without a doubt. I don’t bother with cheap pellets but I also don’t do plinking.

Umarex Airsaber 2x won’t fill

Don’t know what to do about it any suggestions?
More info about what. You've tried and what it does and doesn't do would help. If it won't go past 580 it sounds like the compressor may have suffered a stage failure or a valve is leaking or stuck. Reed/check or otherwise. If the compressor is totally unused like I just read, there's a bit of a learning curve and some scientific method in order

Tuning  Vulcan 3 fill issue

I degassed the system and now I'm trying to fill it back up .

I tried to fill it several times cocked and uncocked; everytime I go to disconnect the fill probe and vent the line, the gun empties the entire tank back through the fill probe.

I must be missing something. Suggestions?
Same thing I’m experiencing. Gun emptied entire tank through fill valve probe. Now the gun won’t take any pressure. All the air I try to pump in via compressor or higher pressure using a tank, it all just vents through the barrel now….wont build any pressure at all. How did you resolve your issue?

Stressing on Rifle Cases, here's a soft case that actually fits

I added the vid and pics so you could actually see it with rifles actually in it. Hope this is somewhat informative for someone.

I've only been shooting airguns for about 1-1/2 years now and first thing that irritated me almost immediately was the case that came with the rifle I bought wouldn't fit the rifle if I added a scope. I thought for $1500 (what I thought was a lot for a pellet gun at the time) the damn case it came with should fit the damn rifle with a scope.

Then I bought (used) a Daystate Pulsar which originally, I believe, was close to 2k and yet it doesn't fit with a scope, at least not the one I have with medium height rings...freaking irritating. So I did buy a hard case which is a great pain in the keister to get around with on the UTV, hell even loading up the Jeep with 2 hardcases for the bows and 2 hardcases for the guns it doesn't all fit in the back seat. Anyway, found a nice bag 43"length x 14"height x 4"deep. Fit's the Vulcan and Pulsar fine.

If I'm heading out on some ridiculously rough back country I'll use the hardcase but for most of my travels either to the range or my hunting spot, soft case it is.

Help with classifieds

Haha the mods were dragging on it and because I asked what he may or may not be looking to invest/divest from in a much broader post about carpentry it got flagged for mod approval. So I got scolded for inappropriate content for circumventing the system. Maybe classified should be hidden all together from users without the tenior and from search engines?

HW/Weihrauch  Is this a Rowan trigger for the record trigger unit?

I am about 99% sure this is for a record trigger unit but could anyone confirm. I found it in one of my parts bins. Evidently l forgot l had it. Old age socks sometimes . Don

Looks like the OEM trigger blade for a Rekord unit.

What springer did you shoot today?

Got this HW77 out to check zero now that the front sight assembly is fixed. All good. POI was wandering last time I shot it before things came loose so assume that was probably when it first started to loosen up. I know I’ve whined before about the current HW stocks, but man! If they still made them like this instead of the fuglysticks they turn out now I’d probably own a half dozen more than I do.
