Over time, I have accumulated these four one-piece 1” scope mounts. They have been mounted but are like new and still contain the black adhesive tape the way they are shipped. I see no scratches. I am an old guy and like walnut and steel and two-piece mounts, although the one-piece are probably a wiser choice. Three are Gamo and the other possibly a BSA. These don't come available used very often, so here's your chance to get a great little semi-auto light hunting rifle. The Steyr Hunting 5 Auto Scout probably has the best trigger of any semi-auto air gun I've ever shot. To me much more like a standard air gun trigger, on a gun which would require manual cocking.

This one is in beautiful condition, both cosmetically and functionally. Comes with 5 each(!) 5 shot mags, fill probe, fill hole protector, OEM Steyr hard case and STO Brevitas II mod. This one doesn't make too much noise, and the Brevitas II is small, light, unobtrusive, and takes the edge off.

Very accurate gun - always a pleasure to shoot on my backyard 25 yard range (which I did just a couple of weeks ago). Works great with ~16 gr pellets - I've mostly used the AA's, but also fantastic (and just as accurate) with JSB Hades or FX Atomics. All pellets in this weight range which I have shot fly about 830 fps. Great light hunter/pester and handy as heck.

Low fill pressure of 200 bar, so would be great for hand pumping, if that's what you are in to.

Note that the moderator adapter was originally bright silver alloy. I didn't like the look, so I hit it with some Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black solution. Still didn't get the full black look I wanted, so I painted it black and broke the sheen with ultra fine ScotchBrite. Matches the matte black barrel much better now.

Also note: To my eyes on my monitor, the gun's wood looks more RED than it does in person.

These are expensive guns when new, and when they come up on the used market. I believe that I paid about $1,500 for this one used. But it doesn't get enough action in my collection, so I'm selling for $1,135 via PP Friends and Family, including shipping in CONUS.

This came with my R5M Standard when I bought the gun new a couple of years ago and had Brian of Edgun West install a laminated stock on the gun prior to shipping it. The original stock came with the gun as I paid extra for the laminated one. It has been sitting in the box it came in ever since and I never installed it on my R5M. The stock doesn't have a mark on it as far as I can tell and is in excellent shape. The pre-owned Skout Epoch I bought seems to have originally been built in the 35" .357 cal configuration. Sometime before I bought it the owner converted it to 25" .25 cal, and that was how it was set up when I purchased it (came with the .357 cal barrel and accys. in the case).

Since I have now lost our local range where I could safely shoot big bore, I am going to sell off the .357 cal caliber change kit +. It seems from the following photo off a Skout web site that these are all of the components of the OEM Skout Epoch Caliber Exchange Kit, 35", along with the additional component of the carbon fiber shroud. (?)
