My custom designed 3 groove Hammerforged by TJ. Tested very well with both pellets and slugs. It's a .217 bore so anything .218 or larger didn't perform nearly as well as the proper sized slugs. 1in18" twist. Best for 24gr and under. FX Hybrids did exceptionally well. This is a test barrel prior to the production run. Lapped and polished. Uses the FX TP for a drop in fit. Threaded 1/2-20.

O.K., time for me to come clean. I don't 'get' AirForce airguns. I thought that I used to 'get' the AirForce RAW stuff, but after a recent fiasco gun (MicroHunter) which AirForce couldn't fix, I guess that I don't even understand the AirForce RAWs any more. But the standard AirForce branded guns just kind of seem loud and brash to me. Guess that I have become too much of an airgun snob...

I parted with my last RAW this morning, and this AirForce Escape in .22 cal is the last AirForce item in my airgun collection. So time for it to go to a new owner.

I bought this last September (2024) from Utah Airguns. They listed their remaining stock of these as 'used' to get around MAP requirements, but they were all brand new. I tried to shoot this gun in my backyard 25 yard range, but could never get velocities down where I wanted them, or of the consistency I wanted. My notes from that initial chrony session read "Shoots too hot at full fill." I guess that I tried to tune it with the adjuster wheel, but I have always gotten quickly bored with these guns and have never learned how to do it properly. So when you get the gun, it will still (in my opinion) shoot too hot at full fill. Perhaps you know how to work with these?

This gun came from UA with the paperwork, but WITHOUT the little spanner and hex wrenches which normally come with AirForce guns. So you will need to get this stuff, or maybe you have them from another AirForce gun in your collection? I used an adjustable 2-pin spanner to attach and detach the tank/valve assembly. Gun comes with 1/2" UNF adapter in place.

Due to upcoming move to a country with restrictions on .22, I am selling my (used) Weihrauch HW80 .22. I bought it initially with a Vortex Diamondback 4-12 MOA scope with the scope mounted rings (I don't recall brand). The rifle currently have Sportmatch 30mm rings mounted but they will not fit the included scope. Took a picture of the only ding that I noticed on the butt and purposely didn't mask it. I will include the front iron sights but I unfortunately lost the rear iron sights.
