Apparently I have lost my touch with a springer. I used to brag about how good I could shoot them, but not anymore. So I am going to sell this rifle to somebody who deserves her.

Here is my beloved .177 Beeman R9 from Straight Shooters. I purchased this rifle when they were closing out. Rifle has a very small scratch on the barrel and a tiny rust spot that will probably wipe off with an oily rag, but better that you see pictures before I start wiping her down.

Also has a pressure mark on the underside of the buttstock, and looke like some freckling of some sort of the checkering on one side. Probably happened in the squirrel woods

Rifle comes with original boxes it was shipped in, complete with the original invoice from Straight Shooters.

This rifle scope is a discontinued Leupold 4x28 Rimfire. It compliments the gun perfectly, was bought for it, and will go with it. Apparently I misplaced the box the scope came in. I will continue to hunt for it.

I will also include a .177 Straight Shooters pellet sampler. If I recall correctly, I actually ordered the rifle and the sampler in .22 caliber. They accidentally shipped me this one instead, but it was so beautiful and shot so well I kept it. It shipped with a .22 caliber sampler, and they shipped me the .177 sampler free of charge after I received this stellar rifle that I refused to let go of. It pretty much shoots everything you feed it pretty good, and I have been feeding it Crosman premiers. You can probably read about that in my initial review of this gun a few years back.

I ended up replacing the whole regulator and upgraded the piston head to a brass one. The previous owner included the MKII block with all of the necessary parts to install it.

This is the Fox Air Power version of the AEA Challenger Elite, so it has a bigger plenum and should be setup for around 500ftlb. I say should be because I honestly don't remember. I bought it last year wanting to try big bore. I've only shot a few sighters and got a nice group of 3 touching at 50 yards with the 258gn. No issues, has been holding air since then. Job change forced a move and don't really have space for it. Have both mags and the rest of the Hr Hollowpoints that will go with it. My entry level PCP airgun. It is set up for left handed shooting but easily used by right handed shooter or converted to RH. Upgrades include Alteros adjustable regulator for more consistent shots, polished hammer and sear with special trigger adjustment screws. Trigger is adjustable and now breaks under 1 lb yet safety works properly when engaged. Heavier barrel screws, three 4mm instead of one plus two 3mm and a 4mm screw holding action to barrel instead of 3mm. Includes two new 7 round mags, Diana 3-9 AO scope, short pic rail for bipod (not included), oaftermarket charging handle (notorious for breaking off), fill hole plug and 2000+ quality pellets (JTS, Crosman and JSB). All you need is a high pressure hand pump or an air compressor that will generate 2900psi max in 100cc tube. Hand pump is slower and a challenge at my age (81). Challenge yourself quietly (moderator is standard) in your backyard with target shooting and/or pest control.

Bought new in September 2024 and winter came early in MN. Didn’t expect to take to the sport as quickly as I did - less than 500 rounds thru it. Bought an Umarex Zelos in December with more features, power and tuning potential now don’t shoot the Stormrider anymore

if you’re curious about how it went from rh to lh, it started with the cocking handle breaking off, badly scarring the pellet probe and its housing to remove it. Couldn’t stand looking at my work and found a left handed receiver (term ?), the pellet probe is already ambidextrous and to a certain extent I am too. Probably about $50 for parts to make it rh again. An easy airgun to work on - great videos from Tyrone in SA. Meticulous, step by step demonstration. One project I started bur didn't complete was adding a CF reinforcing tube and floating the barred. Barrel band has been modified to only support air tube. New oem on ebay for about $15 to replace if you choose. Found the right size tube on amazon but hadnt decided how to transition from CF to moderator. A project worth completing in my opinion.

About $500 invested - a very high quality airgun with enhancements for $350. Upgrade to a like-new Bushnell Dusk and Dawn 6-18x44 for +$100. Break-in is done. Barrel originally cleaned and properly leaded. All screws properly tightened. I was a powder gun shooter until I chanced upon airguns and was confused by what I learned as you may be now. If you are not familiar with today’s airguns features and performance possibilities, take the opportunity to learn. If you enjoy shooting and don’t have the time or money to frequent a shooting range as often as you want, this is worth strong consideration. Can be shipped without FFL concern at actual cost in original box. Many reviews on the Stormrider - check them out on youtube.

Looking to trade a new in factory box Hatsan AT44QE in .177 caliber. I purchased two of these; and haven't used this one at all. It is in new factory condition with everything included from factory. These guns are very quiet with the factory moderator. They shoot very fast at around 1150fps with a 7.5-8g pellet.

Also, have a used Hatsan Flash in .22 caliber that looks and shoots great. It has 2 magazines with it. I can include a moderator.
