What’s your thoughts on a pellet sample? Looking for input please. Price etc.

samples are cool
if the customer can pick 9 different weights / sizes / grains that would be very cool, but I doubt easy to handle at your end as there are about 362,880 variations.....

Very sweet setup, and not least CUZ it is reusable,
But i would only be interested in .22 and the one heavy .177 size. and .22 only for a little while as i plan to sell my .22 rifle and be strictly .177
What are the measurements ( outside ) of these containers ?
Each compartment look large enough to house 400 .177 slugs / pellets at least in the 13 grain flavor, but i think even larger will still be able to hold a sizeable count of slugs / pellets.
Though i think they are way too small for my current tank / range back setup, it is smaller and so i could make it work.
I would be very interested in 2 of those servings, even with nothing inside the little boxes.
I was looking for something like this sizing the compartments in my tank / range back project, but was not able to find anything like this which seem to be a good size.

I think $30 per container would be reasonable, 90-110 pieces per box giving us anywhere from 900-1100 pellets total, if there are gonna be 9 mini containers inside. With that amount the end user can have enough to try in several airguns as most of have have at least 2 air guns in our collection.

Great idea, I would like to see individual caliber samplers, I shoot 177 and 22 but have plans on a 25 soon but I wouldn't buy a sampler that had calibers I don't own, love your pellets

Definitely needs separated by caliber. Someone like me who uses only .22 would be wasting money on others.
Looks like individual small containers ? so a customer could buy an assortment of pellets in say .177 or .22 But i think you would need to pic or choose or hire another employee to do this job .
Best i think would be several 4 pack assortments . 50 of each weight or weight
+shape pellet x 4 for say $25.00 plus shipping ?

I love the idea of having a sampler pack of the weights. The packaging seems overly complicated and I don't see myself using it again. I'd be happy with a tin and divider inside.

I've been wanting to try all the 22 and 25 varieties that you have since I've had good luck with the 25.4s in 25 cal.

I'd recommend samplers for each caliber. Mixing calibers would turn me off, just saying. You might think about just small zip-lock plastic baggies. Much cheaper.

I believe you have to have data on the most popular pellet sizes. Use AI to determine what is the best combination of sizes to offer and what the expected sales outcome could be. I'm guessing you're trying to get your product in front of more shooters who will return to buy specific pellets they like. You need to price it very competitively, like a diaper
to get people to join your world. It's a sampler after all. It's a good idea, but you may need a way to change the names on the sampler case so people can use it as a trip to the range case of what they want.. Last edited:

There use to be a place in Arkansas called Straight Shooters Precision Airguns that sold samples. You picked what pellets you wanted and they put them in trays and labeled them.
