New FX Panthera DoubleAir Adapter Kit show at British Shooting Show

As seen at this weeks British Shooting Show, FX Airguns has released the Dynamic DoubleAir Adapter Kit that allows the easy modification of any of the FX Panthera models.

With this inexpensive adapter set you can setup your Panthera to use double bottles for additional air (Panthera DoubleAir setup), or move the back bottle to the front for a Panthera Hunter configuration. These adapters have been sent to FXUSA and will be at dealers in the coming weeks. Also note that Panthera's are now shipping constantly to dealers.

Ernest and Jon talk about this conversion kit as well as other new accessories for the Panthera and info on what Ernest has found on the Panthera now that he's been using it for these last two months.

And here Ernest shows you how easy and simple these conversions are in two new FX Masterclass videos:

Not bad, but in that case i would prefer the conventional bottle, and then a folding stock ( if a folding stock are possible that is )

BUT ! i am talking marginals here, i can not find anything on the panthera that are a deal breaker to get / not get one, as with most things and me what i do is solely based on my personal financial situation,,,,,,, which are fortunately good, but this years big purchase have to be something else.

Good thing = Next year, well i will probably have even more things to choose in between if anything airgun related will be my item of the year :)

I think Panthera could become a high power, tactical offering that is not limited to competition.
My only apprehension (based on what I've seen online thus far, since it's proving to be impossible buy get one) would be the gauges hanging off the side. I think they're fine for PRS style shooting, and maybe/maybe not ok for the rifle rack, but I'd want them shrouded with something heavy duty or plugged for hunting / field use.

The hunting version should be streamlined with those considerations. A simpler lighter stock could be another thing to do. Why not offer a wood stock for the traditionalists? Some may say we already have Crown, an excellent gun. True, but Panthera is a new design with advanced internals. It has the potential to represent a future direction for FX. It's reasonable to expect FX to be busy working on multiple innovations for it is FX and there are innovations by others.

If I were to get a Panthera this is the way I would set it up for hunting and bench . No problem with shot count there. But I don’t shoot bench competition . I have a 500 Dreamline GRS in .22 that shoots Hades at 910 fps laser accurate, a Wildcat mk 3 bottle 600mm in 30 caliber that shoots 45 and 50 grain JSB pellets so good I haven’t tried any slugs yet. And my favorite go to hunting gun is the Leshiy 2 in both .22 and .30 . I can’t justify buying another air rifle as I’m happy with the ones I have settled with. But I can see FX coming out with other versions on this panthera block that could replace the crown and Dreamline . I can’t see them adding more versions of Panthera’s with out fading out older models. So maybe down the road I may get one of the next versions if they make a compact Hunter version like the Crown or Dreamline Tac Front bottle . I don’t need to switch out barrels And like the idea of the plentum part of the beefier shroud. What I would like is to see them make the shroud in front of the plentum a moderator to keep aol short.
