Who here has a TalonP?? :)

I'm so glad I found this post. In general, there are not too many airforce owners out there, let alone talonp owners. Not sure why, because from my experience, I find this to be a highly underrated pcp rifle (yes, rifle) for the money. I got mine about 4 months ago and I just love it. Immediately, I purchased the TT one piece top hat, moderator, trigger spring, o-rings, nipple cap and stainless power wheel screw. Realizing the backpackability of this rifle, I also bought several knurled bolts to allow for easy take down of the air tank, moderator and shoulder stock. I did all this without firing a single shot! Once I received a bunch on different pellets from pyramid air, the real testing begun. I will keep this post short and not go into the details yet but I am currently running it at 0 on the PW and with the middle insert on the top hat. This sucker is a beast and dead-nuts accurate up to 45 yards! So far, I've been able to dispatch 4 medium-large rabbits (within 35 yards) with clean head shots using 26gr polymags. Countless pigeons, sparrows, grackles, and starlings have met their early demise at the wrong end of the talonp. 

Anyways, enough about me. Have you done any mods to it yet?

Everything you wanted to know but afraid to aks can be found on Talon tunes forum, Talon p gate. Your first mod should be the Talon tunes qc top hat. It has two inserts. Use the large one. Power wheel on 6. Jsb pellets. Have fun. I have test data. Emal for same. [email protected].

Yeah, I am already a member of TAG under the same name, its just that they are not a real talkative bunch over there. Great group, just not a lot happening. I posted a few discussions regarding my talonp build. 

First mod was a one-piece top hat, TT 9" shroud and trigger spring. I tell ya, this little sucker is a Beast!

Sorry I missed your post earlier. I put a 24" barrel on my TalonP and that thing will smoke. I leave my power wheel on 8. With a 43.2g Eu Gin pellet am able to achieve 100 fpe but if prefers H&N barracudas. I dropped a large pest coon with it like a stone. Everything else is stock but laser and bipod.
