What is the smallest object you have shot and at what distance.

Hit a sparrow last week at 114 yards while at the range . Chairgun was dead on the money . Shooting my BSA R10 MK2 .22 cal

ants flies and pellets sometimes they like to take the dead mans walk across my targets,,, when i was a youngin i would shoot match heads in my bedroom with my pumpmaster 760, still have the old girl s...till shoots needs a new cocking arm ,i may have put 50000 bbs through it,, just a gestimation,, ,bbs would come in a school lunch milk container, ,never got in trouble with it,, ,i new if i aimed it in the wrong direction i would never see it again

Shot a walnut off the top of a fence post at 75 yards with my R9-it did take 3 shots. Probably my most satisfying shot with that gun was a ground squirrel at 45 yards-he was peeking around the end of a log and all I could see was his head.

Bacteria, Fungus and viruses (and various other microscopic organisms) at 500 yards IF they happened to be occupying the space where the projectile terminates its forward flight suddenly!

A .22 Cal. Pellet at 23 yards it took me about 8 shoots with some wind, with my Walther Terrus .22

9MM pistol cases at 55 yd.

Co2 cartridge painted bright orange hung from trees at 60, 70 and 80 yds. On a calm day and the stars line up no match for David Slade tuned FWB 124d shooting jsb 8.4 @ 860. Scoped with swfa 10x sf mildot. Fine crosshairs help a lot.

I once shot the testicles off of a housefly at 100 yards with my Daisy 99. 

Mostly I just shoot whining Democrats in the a$$ with it. I ran out of BBs by February this year.

Shooting testicles off of houseflies is not only an unethical way to eliminate pests but seems to lack real challenge. Now, if @hajimoto or @joewaynerhea were to post us a vid shooting the pube hairs off of a fly's ball sack at 100 yards, now THAT would be worth getting excited about. Er... well, not excited excited, just, you know, interesting.

This evening shot a 2-Liter bottle cap off the top of the 2-Liter bottle at 70 yards using my Benji Summit gas springer in .22 and Benji Discovery Hollow Points, 14.3 gr, in .22 cal. I worked the Summit over last night, lubing where needed and polishing the trigger piece and matching sear. Gotta say the result is pretty tasty.

Ironlion269 I'm sorry my friend but I have to ask this question. Were you aiming at the bottle cap or the bottle?  

Also so did you moly your trigger and sear, I tried it on one of my more difficult triggers and it worked a treat. Thanks for the info.

@Windmill01 trust you to call me out on that! And yes, Mr. Snarky, I was aiming at the bottle cap. Never mind it took me more than a dozen shots to hit the dang thing... meh!

I didn't moly the trigger and sear - I wanted to take the work in stages and see where it took me. I shot the Summit over lunchtime today (met another Air Head who was shooting his Evanix .357 with silencer at the range) and found the trigger is just about perfect after some additional tweaking.

Good to hear my friend, sounds like you have the trigger mastered. I had a little trouble my 177 Trail as I had lent it to one of our sons whilst "she who must be obeyed " and I went camping on Fraser Island for a month. It looks like the scope rings worked loose and then the stop pin began to rattle around after every shot and wore an oblong hole. He puta couple of tins through it so I suppose this and zillions I have put through it wore the hole out.
We don't have the range and various stores that supply all types of goodies you guys luckily have so I had to drill another hole. Anyway she's back to normal, except I just had the new Bushnell Trophy XLT 6-18*50 replaced under warrenty. It only took the Trail 2 months to kill it.
Have you set up a range yet in your new back yard?
