"Hynzie"so when i first started with pcps this was a brand i really liked ,,nice wood good mechanics ,,,just thought it was nice ,has anything changed in the way they make them,, lately the reviews i have seen are not to favorable ,,,any info helps ..was thinking on getting the 22 cal laminate carbine ,thanks ,pat
.177 is more successful version in hw100

If you want a 22 get the FSB version. The barrel is a little shorter but has proven to be very accurate. It is a 12 groove barrel. The standard 600mm barrel is 6 grove and has caused a lot of pain for people around the world.

The 20cal has a LW barrel and shoots the JSB at 930 fps and a full 3 mags. Not bad for a 175 cc cylinder.

Still a gun.Great build quality the best magazine and side lever. A sweet trigger and lots mod options.

+1

I had a HW100 0.22 KT which came with the 6 groove barrel. Never ever shot right.

I have a .20 that is staggeringly good. Had a .22 that, while mechanically peerless, required cleaning every 30 shots because of the terrible, tight choke 😳
Those 6 groove .22's really soured the milk on what is one of the best PCP's out there. I think they are also a little less suited to the US market as they are not designed as a really high powered gun. Very much typical European.
My .20 is currently at 19fpe and a joy. Crank it up to 25fpe, and still very accurate, but suddenly not anything like as smooth to shoot, and 28-30 shots per fill, compared with almost 60.
