Weihrauch scopes reviews ?

Curious about their line of scopes.
For the money ,dollar for dollar, knowing there is much better ,is their scope worth the price of admission?
I cannot Imagine (after my hw97kt walked into my life) ,they would put their name on something not worthy of their name.
I don't know if they have a bigger line than the 2 I see at aoa
any ones experienced one of their optics?
thanks in advance

I don't believe that I would pay $199 for this scope especially when you can get the BSA equivalent of the same scope for less than half of that. Is it possible that WR does something differently on the internals with the mechanicals or lenses? Possible but I wouldn't think so when I compare it to my BSA 2-7x32 version of this scope. I received the HW 4x with my HW30S-UP from AOA, I didn't need the scope but there didn't seem to be an option for the same gun without it available.

Its an ok scope with a wire duplex crosshair(a little thick), it does have a wider field of view than the 2-7x which is typical for many scopes when compared to models that have zoom capability. It does have target style turrets which can be handy but the turret are not repeatable or very accurate, For example when you adjust windage the elevation can sometimes move up or down or visa versa so that make this a set it and forget type of scope rather than a turret turner for adjusting for distances, you should also keep the turret adjustments near the middle of their ranges otherwise the poa can dance around a bit once you start backing off the spring tension. Also they don't seem to do well in low light situations, often times I will do some shooting when I get home in the evenings which is near sundown and it seems like once the sun drops over the horizon it can be a strain to focus on a target. I imagine this is the case for most budget scopes. There is some blurring on the very outer edge of the glass but it doesn't seem to detract from the performance at all.

Just keep in mind that these are budget or entry level scopes and if you ok with that then its ok to own, I certainly wouldn't think that I was getting a steal of a $500 class of scope at a $200 price point. Its possible there are better scopes out there at a similar price but I haven't looked through many to say one way or the other....after all I'm not Joe Wayne Rhea. ;)
