I guess I don't understand airgun marketing. Every body is falling all over them selves to spend 1400.0$ US for an air gun that don't even come with the barrel liner that they want? So add another125.00 for the X thingy. Or the scope rail you want. I have a funny feeling that a lot of shooters are going to be screaming about problems installing the x liner that everyone seems to be drooling over. Oh by the way Dan Wesson had a barrel liner scream, back in the 70s that had a lot problems with accurcey. And large swings of POI from liner to liner. Every time it was changed for a different liner, or to clean it you had to re zero the sights. These FX liners look really flimsy and just a tiny bit of over torgue, a drop or bump will damage it. Did anyone hear a torgue spec on the liner to get consistency. Just some thing that need thinking about.

Always love Steve’s videos. And I love FX Airguns and the precision, accuracy and power they produce. Kudos, FX! It would make my day to win this Wildcat!

I covered this to some extent in the vid for ya but yes, the X liners will be offered in different calibers too. For the mk2, .22 and .25 are appropriate. Since the Crown and Impact are tunable, even smaller and larger caliber X liners can be made to work with them.

I'm not sure I follow cuz I shot the 25.39gr through both barrels for ya in the vid. That said, I came away feeling like they're equally accurate with the JSB. The X should be more forgiving though if you want to experiment with different pellets & tunes.

I was getting a POI change of 1-2" at 50 yards swapping between inserts ($110 ea). They made an impression of being quite rigid & robust. They didn't appear sensitive to varying levels of snuggung up. If your concerns of not wanting to rezero after removal outweigh all the other benefits, this system isn't for you.

1) No, never. The goal is always to portray results that the typical user can achieve. Of course if when loading a pellet, I see a ding in the skirt, I toss it aside and grab another (as anyone would).
2) Not tube pressure alone but rather the velocity resulting from tube pressure. Absolutely... each gun/pellet combo will have a favorite velocity, I always find it, and always shoot my review targets in that window.
3) 1-2 inches at 50 yards
