As always real good review by Steve... i always enjoy and look forward to his work. It was dead on at 50 yards...the 100 yard target not so much. I like the gun to be a good rabbit hunting gun. Where i hunt rabbit most shots are within 50 yards so this gun would be just right for me. Im sure the groups at 100 yards can get better once you get to know your particular gun a little better. Oh and thanks to Air Arms for the chance to win the Galahad and Air Gun Nation also.

My goodness folks, The Air Arms Galahad is one fine gun. They are giving away a nice big setup this time too. I think this may be one of, if not the best giveaway of theirs yet!!! I would absolutely die if i won all this! I only got into PCP Airgunning about 6-8 months ago but i jumped in with both feet. My first whole setup costed me over a grand and that was just to get me into it. Im still spending every week. Its an expensive hobby. But worth every penny in my book. I did use the Crosman 25percent off code tho, which saved me more than a couple hundred which was AWESOME but i still have a list of thing i want to get lol its never ending. Great fun tho. Im getn my kid into it now too. Thinkn bout getting her, her own gun for her B-Day. Maybe the Wildfire or Galaunt for a starter gun. Heck mine was a lil red ryder knock off and i thought it was the best when i was her age so it will be a hugh step up from that ither way. :) plus it gives me an excuse to stay in the field longer ;)) This settup that they are giving away tho is so sweet. I love those lil powerful bullpups. Man i enter everyone of these and im determined! If not this one i will win one someday so goodluck to everyone. I wish we could all win! If anyone has a gun similar to this let me know what ya think about it. ~~~DrJones~~~

I haver never won anything but wow this would make up for it all!!
To me the style of his riflte with the length to weight ratio makes shooting it look easy!

Can you buy these Accessory rail notches as an after market add on part?
I know you would have to modify the stock but I have a taipan Veteran that I would like to have this on…
Where would you buy them from?

"Bruce54"I have looked at the Galahad before and liked what I saw but the price was a little scary. It is an Air Arms and I guess the the quality will always step forward. Never owned a bullpup and I wonder how difficult it is to get a good cheek weld with high rings needed for my scope. Also, how many shots did it take to get used to the cocking lever? What results did you get with H and N Barracuda, if you tried them?

It took a few hundred shots before I stopped thinking about it and started appreciating it. This one didn't like the Barracuda but as with all LW barrel's, you've got to give em a try. It loved GTO's at 25 yds BTW but they hooked out to 2" at 50 on me. It also loved 15.89 JSB at 25 on P4 and even shot the JSB 18.13 at 100 well on P4.

This gun will shoot 1" groups at 100 all day long with no wind. 3/5 landed in a .75" hole and the other 2 moved on me. Remember, light wind will move an 18 gr pellet an awful lot over the course of 300 feet.

Cheek weld was good. That's just my normal routine of getting on the gun for best accuracy. This gun will shoot 1″ groups at 100 all day long with no wind. 3/5 landed in a .75″ hole and the other 2 moved on me... and only out to 1.9" Remember, light wind will move an 18 gr pellet an awful lot over the course of 300 feet.

Wonder about the cocking lever in hunting ... at least in my neck of the woods as we have a lot of gatcha vines that could hang up on it. But I don't know it may not be an issue
That being said I like the looks and darn it I sure enough like the fact they made concessions to us lefty folks big time CUDOS for that!!!
Kind of wish they took the cocking lever one step further and made it so it fully returns on spring load .... that is to say push down with your thumb , release and it pulls itself back up, now that would make for some fast shooting 


*****Question? Does it have an anti-double feed?

Yeah, it's always hard to let the one's go that can shoot MOA at 100 yds. This ons's a gem. 

I believe that you CAN feed multiple pellets into the breech if you're not careful. I'd check for ya but I've already cleaned it up and boxed it up for the winner. Forward we go, lol.

As a rule, I always shoot just one take unless something happened that would misrepresent the ability of the product... like a huge poof of wind, obvious bad pellet, or I just totally blew the shot for some reason. It happens but it's rare. In the case of the Galahad, I recorded one 100 yard group but shot the distance on 3 targets. One, to gauge drop at 10x and make sure I was sighted properly and ready to dope for wind conditions. Two to check the 18.13 gr, on P4 out of simple curiosity... is was just as accurate at P5. And three, to shoot the group you saw in the video. I was doping a bit for the cross wind and as you saw, 3 landed in a .75" hole and the other 2 blew and inch and half left on me. 

This gun is LASER BEAM.

For what it's worth, I was doping a bit for the cross wind and as you saw at 100, 3 landed in a .75″ hole and the other 2 blew and inch and half left on me. In my experience, it's normal for an 18gr pellet to move 1-3" in 4-5 mph winds. This gun is very capable of 1" groups at 100 yds with no wind.
