Want to Try Scope Camera

I think one of the coolest things I've "discovered" on this forum is the concept of live recording of target or hunting with scoped air rifles. I've searched, read, and watched a lot of posts, youtube, etc. Looks like a person can DIY for $10-20 or spend $50-$1,000 for commercial systems. I don't want DIY. Everytime I go DIY I end up "needing" more power tools and thus, spend more money. (ha).

I also want to use my iPhone 7Plus which is pretty much the same size as the 6Plus except a fraction more thin.

Looks like G-Line, Discovery Optics, and I-Scope are the best options (maybe Eagle Vision too?). My criteria:

1. Under $100 (who knows if I'll really like this or not?
2. Commercial product
3. Fits Iphone 7 Plus
4. Clear Video
5. Fits MTC Viper Connect scope
6. Won't damage phone or scope.

Thanks!

BenGunn,
I started a thread on this forum called "You Guys Make it Look Easy". I bought this Discovery. Mine came with the adjustable plate (knurled knobs that adjust for different phone widths). It fits my 7Pllus and I put it on two different scopes. I get only a tiny or no picture. I'm sure I don't have something set correctly. I hope I can make it work. I bought off a dealer on Ebay so I don't think returning is possible.

I do agree this Discovery is well-made and stable on the scope.

Hi Folks, am looking to purchase a Discovery Optics scope mount and am deciding whether to purchase a Universal mount vs a dedicated mount for my Samsung S6. The universal is my preferred choice but I cannot find any information anywhere that confirms it will happily work with a Samsung Galaxy S6. The reason I ask is that it looks like the screw in position can accommodate for a left hand or right hand side camera but not a Centre camera like the ones on a Samsung smartphone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Paul from Australia 🇦🇺
