Wad Cutter for Marauder suggestions

Try these:

My understanding is they're made for CC by H&N. Same as H&N match rifle. As you can see they come in two head sizes-- I've shot about 20,000 of the 4.5mm and they are very accurate wadcutters.

IMO: Wadcutters shoot most accurately at lower velocities. Tack driving accuracy at <600 fps becomes "spirally" at >900 fps.

YMMV

Thanks!
Hopefully I can find a wadcutter that will preform without having to adjust my velocity. I currently have my M-rod tuned to around 810 max fps for those heavy JSB monsters for Field Target, and I'm not interested in tuning up and down velocities on a weekly basis. Most of my FT is on weekends, while shooting 10m offhand during the week for short practice sessions.

I think you will need to try to shoot a variety of different brands and weights of wadcutters to see which your Marauder likes to shoot best. Back to square one but luckily since you have a LW barrel it may possibly be pellet friendly unlike the factory barrel. If yours can shoot the cheap Beeman China made coated wadcutters they are the cheapest plinking pellets less than a penny a pop I have found and appear to copy the originals made by H&N. I have some guns that shoot the Beeman China Hollowpoints H&N silver bears copies very well also less than a penny a pop and actually better than the wadcutters. Then comes the Gamo Match less than a penny a pop then RWS Basics penny a pop if you are price conscious. If I had to guess, the RWS super mag just under 2 penny popper in your Mrod since its tuned for power.
