Changed my Wildcat's scope from a Hawke Sidewinder to the Vortex Viper.
Spent considerable time mounting the scope to get a perfect alignment. Used 1.26 Vortex rings, and set the position on the picatinny rail about an inch forward of what I had been using and it put my eye in the correct spot this time.
Did a few groups to get it right on the bullseye and set the turrets, my day is now almost complete. I have to say that the clarity of this scope is phenomenal, and the illuminated reticle is exactly what I wanted. The first example is at low power and the second is high. I found targets easy to locate, even at mid and high power. Parallax from 20 yds to ∞ worked great. Yes, I'm very happy with this one.
