Im looking to get a bipod to put on a fx impact, and don’t really have the coin after buying the impact,to buy a Atlas right now,So I’m looking at ether the Utg recon 360 or the green blob. Anyone have any experience with the two of them,good or bad. I see some reviews about the green blob ,haven’t seen a lot about the Utg. Thanks

I have the Green blob and it is an excellent bipod. The only bad thing about it is that it won't allow you to cant the gun and lock down your setting. If you cant the gun and try to tighten the knob it will pull the clamp down putting your gun upright. Very hard to explain but it is easily fixed with a few washers that are the right size. If you get the green blob I can take pictures and measure the washers on mine and show you what to do. Literally have to unscrew it throw a washer or 2 on and screw it back together. After that it works exactly like the Atlas.

Also have you checked the classified section and looked at BH's "cleaning out the closet" ad? That is a nice Harris bipod with all the goodies for a great deal. For a few bucks more than the green blob you'll have a name brand bipod that will last you a lifetime.

Tweeter, thanks for the info, I’ll have to check out those Harris bipods, but with the price of those green blobs at less than 40 bucks shipped, they’re sure tempting.
