Umarex Fail

You could not know this, but I assure you, none of you are more frustrated than I am. As for media getting product before consumers, that's business no matter the industry -- Marketing and promotion people do the job they're paid to do and have no choice but to base their efforts off of the information they're provided. We're not the first to experience delays. Did we get a black eye? You say so. Will you be happy in the end? That's up to you and out of my control. Did we miss the boat? No. We have a long tether. For those that want to know more specifics about the "parts", I've got nothing for you. Your knowing would not change anything at this point. The only thing I will say in regards to parts is that I'm highly confident in and respectful of our U.S. based Quality team who refused to let subpar product pass inspection just to get something to market. This level of quality commitment in addition to its responsive U.S. based service techs are what separates Umarex USA from others. For that, we should all be appreciative. ~JB

as a newb I got excited to hear about the gauntlet thinking that would be my first gun potentially...it's been disappointing to hear it won't be out again...and that those who ordered in march are just starting to trickle out...also the hammer looks really cool but I contacted Umarex directly and they said it's not coming out until late first quarter 2018 at the earliest...

JB;
Thanks for the update. Since the delivery date keeps slipping back, those of us that preordered would appreciate even more current updates. If the delivery date has to slip, it would help Umarex PR if we were given more notice, instead of when the delivery date comes then find out it will be another month. It would be appreciated if Umarex would consider giving weekly updates with some kind of explanation as to the slip in delivery.

Update:
It is my understanding that Gauntlets currently on-hand in Fort Smith that were awaiting a part replacement (as mentioned on 10/9) will start shipping week of Halloween to our valued retail partners. There could always be unforeseen road blocks, although we aren't anticipating any. That shipment will then be followed by our next arriving allotment expected during the first full week of November. Other shipments to Fort Smith are scheduled to come in waves thereafter. ~JB

Friends of Umarex USA;

Thank you for your extreme level of patience in delivery of the Umarex Gauntlet. You have undoubtedly seen a consumer-published video by now touting its unparalleled accuracy, especially considering its retail cost. We have begun to ship the first production units just this week and will increase the production and delivery from here. A second, much larger production run is en route and is expected to ship from Fort Smith to retailers in the next 12-14 days. I do not have information as to how many Gauntlets a retailer may or may not have received nor would I be at liberty to say if I did. Again, as I have said before, the wait while excruciating for some, is a contributing factor in the Gauntlet's performance. ~JB
