Thanks for all the kind comments. Really had a lot of fun doing these. Got to test the .25 with the new stock out with Wyshadow and JimNM today. Rifle shot very well. Made a few longs shots. Dispite the bad weather we had a fun time. We have a great bunch of guys here in New Mexico!

Mick, I'm kinda obscessive compulsive so once I started I kept going the whole weekend. The longest time was for the linseed oil to set. One rifle is still curing. I am fortunate to be in an arid climate or I would have had to wait 1 week between coats. I put about 3 fulls days per rifle preparing the wood. I was able to apply a coat every 1-2 days. I put 6 coats of linseed oil on both. I plan to bed both rifles as well.
