Tominco's IMPACT !

HEY AGN!

Hey guys! I have been given the privilege of having one of the first FX Impact’s ever made. How? Well, I met Frederik at the EBR competition earlier this month. While I was there I did something that many thought couldn’t be done... I shot a magazine fed rifle in Speed Silo and set a new record while doing it! In doing so, turned a lot of heads. One of the heads I turned was Frederik’s. He was so impressed with what I was doing with the FX Wildcat, that he offered me an Impact to test out while I was waiting on my retail version. Thanks Frederik!

So, I want to take this opportunity and share it with all of you! I have not had much time to spend with the rifle so, I thought we could learn it together. If you have questions for me, please post them here. Don’t post questions in the youtube comments section. I won’t be looking there. I can show you a close up, take a measurement, etc.

How does it shoot? This is a question I’m going to shy away from. Here’s why... I believe there is a relationship between the rifle and the shooter. So, I don’t think it’s fair for me to say “It shoots this good” because someone else could be a much better shot than I am and have outstanding results. In addition, there’s too many variables to consider... having an off day, temperature, wind, bad pellets, too much caffine, humidity, and so forth.

How many shots per fill? I may look into this at a later time as I learn the rifle more. If I do, I’m most likely going to just max everything out and provide the LOWEST shot count that the rifle will have. There’s are many adjustments that can be made on this rifle that will increase shot count.
I do not have a .22 cal barrel yet. So, unfortunately, we’ll have to wait on the .22 info.

About me. I’m not a youtube personality, I don’t like being in front of the camera. I don’t really take apart rifles to find out what makes them tick. I wouldn’t say I’m a tuner. I’ll find the sweet spot on a rifle and that’s about where it ends. So, this rifle is going to allow me to step out of my comfort zone by having all the adjustments easily available that I was afraid to go searching for in other rifles. But, keep in mind, I’m just a guy who lives out in the sticks that likes to shoot air rifles. I’m going to do what I can to get your questions answered in a timely manner.
Also, I’m not very tech savvy. I’m getting a crash course in imovie and youtube right now trying to get this stuff out there for you. Hopefully my videos will get better as we go on this journey together.

Happy Shooting!

About the vid. I was VERY tired when I made this. It was my 3rd attempt. 1st time I made it, I cut my head off! LOL! 2nd time was a mess of interruptions. This time I was running on about 4 hours sleep. It doesn’t show how exciting this is for me and how excited I am to share it with all of you! Hopefully, future videos will turn out more exciting. BE ADVISED - The volume is a bit loud at times. Also, everything is amplified A LOT in my garage. So, when I shoot moderated it comes over quite loud. I'll cover that again at a later time. I hope you enjoy these! :)

Dad gummit Tom, I wasn't even interested in the Impact. At least that's what I told myself?
Then I had to come here and see your video, and now I have yet another air rifle to crave!!!!!!!

All kidding aside, your first video was extremely enlightening to the workings of the Impact. You have a fan here and look forward to more of yer vids.
Also, congrats on the new world record. It pays to think outside the box!
