this is my 2300kt

Hello airgunners, I'm new to this forum. This is my crosman 2300
Very happy with it.
I've done some cosmetic mods to it, everything else is stock.

I was going to convert it over to hipac or pcp but decided to let it be for now.

If you look at the above link it will show you the various types of licences you need to obtain a weapon. You also have to provide proof of requirement prior to any approval. You are only allowed a licence if you participate in club events or have written approval from a land holder to shoot on his property. Most shooters have a cat A & B licence and you need this to own an air rifle.
As for pistols I believe that the air variety sold in Aussie are only for 10 meter events in the clubs not the selection you guys have. As for the other types of pistols you may only own one if you compete in a club. I don't think many approvals are given for powder pistols for the land holders themselves. But some one out there will have more info than me.
I love my hunting on my mates properties of west of here, there are all sorts of ferals to hunt.
Hope this helps, also bow hunting is big here as well. Again nice pistol.

The HiPac will work on the Crosman guns. I've had mine for two or three years. I don't know if you can still get them or not. There have been some explosions with the HiPac, but don't know all the details. The valve needs additional screws to hold it safely in the gun if you plan on exceeding 2000 psi. I only charged to 1800 when using it. The CO2 piercing pin for the CO2 cartridge can get hung up in the exit hole of the HiPac unless you slightly enlarge the hole or cut the pin off for using the HiPac. But with the pin cut off, can't use CO2. I don't remember the shot count with it as compared to CO2, but I think it was about the same. Velocity was a little higher with the HiPac installed.
