They are all gone???`

If they're carnivores or omnivores then shoot a squirrel or bird and leave it where you want them to go. After a few days you will probably notice it has been taken. Maybe less if it's hot because they hunt with their nose. Repeat a few times and they will keep coming back to that spot looking for an easy dinner.

You could also put a little raw meat or a smelly fish in the microwave and then leave it outside while it's still steaming. They'll come from miles away.

Sorry for the late response...

Thanks for the input.

"tiptop"I've lived with a pet parrot for over 20 years and I can tell you he is very intelligent - at least as much as the average dog. And way smarter than some dogs I've known. How that's possible with a brain the size of a grape I have no clue. I think it's a mistake to assume that birds and rodents have no intelligence or awareness.
I am not sure if I would call Prairie Dogs "smart", but they are definitely aware of.... well, something. : ) It still amazes me though, that a PD gets shot, drops dead, and the guy right next to him just keeps looking at me... : )

Thanks,
