Thermal imager for Android phone

A friend of mine has one. He set it up once on his little suppressed 22 SBR using a home built mount and a reticle app for his android phone. We planned to use it, and my similar 22 SBR equipped with my Thor HD for a night time close range (we shoot cotton rats almost at our feet in the briars at our place in the country) rat shooting trip. The rats didn’t cooperate that night, so I can’t say how effective it would have been, but I will say that it didn’t look like it’d work for anything further than spitting distance. I know this isn’t airgun related, but here’s a picture in case someone wants to get some ideas for the mount. His phone isn’t attached here, but it would sit in that X shaped bracket.
