The war is fought on many fronts

My battle with starlings is small but part of the war none the less. As i enjoy my morning coffee this is my view out of my kitchen sliding door.

The starlings land at the top of the big locusts tree just beyond the coop every morning about the same time. I usually can only get one but this morning they came back for seconds.

"Bob_O"If you can get a hold of some horse or cow manure, mix it with some hay and cracked corn and see if that will attract more of them or even better just make the ones that are there wanting to come back.
That's a great idea and i have thought about it, but i have a flock of barred rocks that free range and they would be all over it before the starlings had a chance to find it.

i was thinking about trying some starling decoys. I say some for sale on eBay. Has anyone had any luck with decoys?
