The golden tip?

Hi y’all
Does anyone have experience with the Gold tipped pellets (.22 cal.). AKA H&N Hornets, predator metalmags, crosman gold tips, or any others of that design. H&N Hornets are pricey are they worth the price? How do they compare to the cheaper metal mags? Rick Eustler showed a ballistic test Hornets included and said they were devastating. Any way thought I would ask y’all to shine some light on the subject.

I went out on a limb and bought a tin of the Crosman "Gold Tipped" 8.9gr .177's. They actually shoot pretty well in my LGU and Diana 75 out to 25yds+ But! They shoot Very well in my 12 ft/lb Pro Sport! Suprised the hell out of me. They are pricey but not so much compared to the H&N's.

Lol butt it’s facts not fluff. Seriously though I am wondering what kind of terminal effects these have on tougher game. Effects on targets compared to other hollow points etc
