Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a "K" karbine version of the HW95 barrel anywhere? I see Pyramiydair has two types... One with muzzlebrake and one without, but they are standard length barrels. I cannot seem to find the shorter version without muzzlebrake and also threaded for a moderator. I may have to order one, have it cut down, and threaded, but was hoping to find the actual K version if possible. Any ideas?

Maybe Specialty Shooting Sports in Canada, but I don't think they can ship them here. Check with AOA since they are the importer. Or, send it to John in PA for a chop. IIRC he will rechoke/recrown. You'll lose the dovetails for the front sight though.

In England, the original 95K was not greeted with great success, and Weihrauch came up with an even shorter one, with a threaded muzzle and LDC as standard. Make sure , if you can find a barrel, that it is the length you need.. I remain very pleased with my .22 version, less jumpy than the .177 HW98 I owned and could not get on with. I did, however, keep the beautiful HW98 adjustable stock.

Try Steve at Pomona Airguns. He's cut, crowned and choked 2 on my Hw guns. I did this to allow the pellet to exit the barrel quicker.

It has been a long road to find a barrel, but I eventually found one! Chambers gunshop in the U.K. had some stock of HW80k barrels in .22 with the super short 310mm length and 1/2" UNF thread. It has the same breech shape as the HW95 and will fit!!!!

I'm also interested in this. Which moderator are you going to go with? Also I'm curious how much difference it makes with the gun, a video would be great, if you have the means that is! Thanks

I won't be making a video, but I do have chronograph results of the .22 as it stands today. I will test with the new barrel and same pellets to see if anything is different.
