Would this be an acceptable unit for tethering?

Look like outlet pressure can be adjusted from 70-410 bar so I would say yes.  You will probably have to buy the adapter to connect the reg your tank, and high pressure hose and connector to go to your gun.  How much does it cost?  There are other options from low $300 to as high as you want to pay.

Like said above it will work with the right fittings.
I use the Ninja High Pressure Fill Station to tether with. Very easy to use and they can be had on ebay at times for under $200.

You should update your WTB ad in the classifieds to show you found a tethering unit.
