FYI, I updated my target download post to include a target with greyscale bulls rather than color incase some prefer that.

Wow nice shootin guys! My goodness Joe your target is almost sickening to look at. lol (j/k, I will gladly look at more)
Well I had another go of it this afternoon. I picked up a couple packs each of H&N Field Target Trophy Power and Beeman Field Target Special Gold. Normally I don't bother with copper coated pellets as I never had luck with them but last week I decided to try a few from a sample pack I had and was surprised to see they had grouped well at 30yrds even better than the JSB's I was using.

Even though they are the same pellet there are noticable differences for examble the FTT's seemed to have a very slightly longer skirt and they an average of 8.8gr while the FTS's weighed an average of 8.5gr. The FTT's were more consistent in size in the tin where about 95% fell into the 5.53 head size and just a few on either side of that. The FTS's had about 80% fall into the 5.53 size and they would range from 5.56 down to 5.51. I would imagine these differences are a result of a die change or perhaps one wearing out of spec rather than Beeman having their own slightly different version of the FTT similar to Air Arms having their own JSB dies.

First up is the FTTP's and it is a noticeable difference since my last entry. I managed to keep all shots on the bulls save for Target #9 had one go high.

Next if the FTSG's, I think they could have even better than the FTTP's had I not kept throwing shots, just couldn't seem to get in the groove on this one.

Think I will try again tommorow if the weather cooperates but I will start of the the FTSG's first.
