The Chronos 1.4 can shoot high-speed video with 1,957 fps at its full resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels, and up to 21,600 fps at lower resolutions.  Of course it’s steep but nowhere near what traditional super high speed cameras cost.

Wow, thats great definition for a fraction of the price! Good find.

If it makes it to market at the expected $2500 it will be a game changer for the industry.  If I also have a spare $2500 when that happens I’ll let you know how it does.

More likely some major brand company will buy it from the designer and jack the price up 10 folds.

Think of that definition on a head shot, YouTube police will love it

The shooter would need to be absolutely rock-steady or I would think the video would be a blurry mess.  Super cool technology, but not sure it is feasible for a scope cam.  Just thinking out loud here.

It wouldn’t have to use the highest definition to look great.  I agree someone would have trouble keeping steady shooting at 1,957 fps at its full resolution of 1280 × 1024.  But maybe 500-600 fps at high definition would be a lot clearer than anything on the web.

    How so?

High frame rate makes for less motion blur.
    Unless I’m mistaking your meaning
