Hello All

Swomack Here

I am a new member as of two days ago

I live in Northern Texas and I haven't owned an air rifle since I was a kid

I am 54 years old and after researching current air guns I am blown away with what is currently out there for purchase

I have many real guns and thought a air rifle might be fun for plunking in my back yard

The more I read about what's out there, the more I think I will get addicted to this

I just purchased a Benjamin Trail SBD Stealth All Weather .22 Caliber NP2 Break Barrel Air Rifle

I see there are much better air rifles out their but I thought I would give this break barrel a try

Looking forward in reading up on what I have been missing for all of these years and learning all that I can

Where at in Texas? In Fort Worth and Dallas there is a couple field target clubs, most of the guys there are willing to let you try their rigs before or after a match, or loan you one to try the match with. We shoot the second and 4th sat of every month at a few ranges. We will be shooting in Arlington on the 27th. PM me if you want to try out a couple nice under lever springers, I am north and west of fort worth.

Welcom! Always good to see new members. Now let’s get down to business. How deep are your pockets, which is essentially the same as asking how accurately do you want to shoot? Your rite the trail is a good 25-40yd gun to start with. But there are many guns on here that will take that trails 2.14” pattern att 30 yd and put it out at 120 for ya. Just brows and let your eyes roll back! And ask any of these guys if you have questions. The best experience and advice on the web. Glad you landed here!
