SWFA tax day sale

Well CRAP! Here I thought I was going to save some $ during the Tax Day Sale. Turns out SWFA is located in Texas & I got hit with a rather hefty "In State" sales tax. Dammit, I could've had everything sent to someone out of state & then reshipped back to me for less than I paid in sales tax. ;0

I ordered just after the sale, it seems. I was unaware of it, or I might've had more urgency.
I paid full price for a 10x42 mil-mil. Great optics and mechanics. But that reticle is so fine, it could sure use a light! The crosshairs get totally lost on black bullseyes, and I don't even want to think about in the woods at dawn or dusk.
For this reason, I think I'll still prefer the Athlon Argos in this price range. Athlon should start making fixed focal length scopes and save a few hundo, like SWFA does. SWFA really has the spectrum covered: 6, 10, 12, 16 and 20. They wouldn't do badly to add a fixed 32x as well. (for target shooters)
