Squeeze da pee

I was watching a Northern Ireland hunter's YouTube rabbit hunting videos and saw that he was squeezing the midsection of each harvested rabbit before placing it in his game bag. He was squeezing the pee out of these dead rabbits. Here's a link to one of his many videos where he's squeezing hares: 

Have any of you heard of this practice or done it yourself? It's a new one on me.
 
When you kill something it will take a minute or two for the animal to kind of relax from what I've experienced when cutting up meat rabbits, and if you don't squeeze the pee out then when your skinning it it my start to squirt and you don't really want to be messing with it when there's pee every where. Plus you probably dont want it on the meat and he probably didnt want pee all over in his game bag.
