sony rx100 help

Anyone that is using a sony rx camera (iv or v) can you please help with settings , I am having issues.

1- what focus mode works best, my reticle continues to loose focus when trying do dial side focus on scope.

2- I have 8-32-56 hawke scope with pro reticle and even when focus I can't see cross hairs unless looking into the sky. It would be almost impossible to hunt squirrels in the woods.

3- I zoom camera all the way and still does not take up entire lcd screen on camera. It seems if camera would zoom further, both my problems would be solved.

4- when you record in slow motion then play back on computer, it is perfect. Looks just like Teds videos.

5- outdoors when sunny is almost impossible to shoot, you just can't see the lcd screen.

Thanks guys

I want to add a few more comments about how I use my RX100 V.

Here's a photo of my scopecam setup on my brother's RAW.

Initially, the view finder displays a level indicator. You can turn that off by pressing the 12 o'clock position on the DISP wheel.

Most of the time, I use the 24P / 480 fps configuration with the end trigger selected. I use a remote control to start recordings.

I use manual focus. The zoom is not as good on the Sony as it is on the Casio.

The biggest issue for me is that it takes a long time after each recording to write it on the memory card. If I wait about a second after I fire the pellet before I press the record button, the shot is closer to the beginning of the video. I can cancel without saving the video after observing the flight of the pellet if I don't want to save the recording; this will save some time.

I found that lighting is very important to get good videos. Also, if the lighting changes, I have to take it out of standby mode to get the camera to re-adjust to the change.

I have a lot to learn on how to setup the camera. It is very sophisticated. Any suggestions are welcome.
