This is a cheap alternative for some great padding and protection for just about anything. Maybe even free if you use a scuba shop to fill your tanks.
Almost all scuba diving shops will have suites that are worn out and retired off into a back room somewhere asking nicely you can get these for a little of nothing. These things are strong and make great tank sleeves, or maybe even some scope covers even a gun sock if you wanted to spend the time
I didn't get fancy with this just a cross stitch with the thin paracord
I have another big tank and I have my X-Sight both will soon have a nice soft rubber sleeve that will protect it from normal little bumps and bruises
