To the guys who casually linger here I wanted to relay a quick story ...Hang in there with me a min . 
A while back I got some negative medical news and found I was gonna have to retire like 5 years early for health reasons . It was demoralizing , and kinda a kick in the head of my manhood I guess you would say . After prostate removal and the side effects I didn't really need that poop right now ....Manhood done been thru enough to hold me for a while . 
Anyway Michael allowed me to post a thread explaining what I was going thru and it REALLY lifted me up . Along with the support and well wishes form the incredible members here . I want to call so many of you by name its killing me but I won't ...But know it meant the world to me !!
But What really makes Michael so special to me is the fact I originally came to this forum with a pre-concieved idea it was not what it presented itself to be , and a Buick sized chip on my shoulder . 
I was DEAD ASS WRONG !!! A lot of guys ( probably me included I'm ashamed to say ) would have held a grudge for the early days and not allowed me to post the things I did . Like a more " colorful forum" did. 
Michael is far younger than me , but honestly a better man . I just wanted to let the guys who read the threads , and don't participate too much to jump on in ...... The man at the steering wheel here has a great moral compass , and someone I'm proud to know . And its a forum I'm more than happy to Be a part of . 
 
Joe, you, me and many others have been forced through the knothole. Forced to learn. change. and adapt. Given a chance to be better. Better men, shots, better choices made before we target any goal. we've made it through that knothole to realize it's better to think then do as opposed to doing and wishing we had thought first. As a kid visiting farm cousins I shot a fledgling on the ground. My very first kill. Never regretted anything else I did as much as that! BEGAN TO THINK THEN DO. So for the forum my point is always make sure of your target & backstop before shooting, 2nd point is use the first point throughout life. I've no doubts about reading your posts and trusting their veracity, same goes for Michael and Ted. GBGUNNER

Glad you're feelin' better Joe, and yes much agreed Michael is one top notch fella.
Michael has a way of handling things that are to be admired. Gotta be a job keeping all us crazies in line? LOL

Doubt a day goes by that I don't visit this site and my hat's still off to Ted Bier too. Ted, I miss your videos. You even got me hooked on your latest spear fishing adventure, but now that's gone? Hope Ted is doing well?
Was anyone else watching his latest spearfishing adventures or just me?

I like your posts JoeWayne..,
I too enjoy this site and visit it for a few minutes a few times a day. I feel brand new in this air rifle stuff even though I think I'm going on 5 years now. The info here is so useful. More importantly, the folks here will answer questions either in posts, PMs or even phone calls. 

In fact JoeWayne, you may not recall but I was selling an air rifle several months ago and went through a bit of difficulty with a buyer who I ended up being leery of. The transaction didn't take place. You provided support. 

Yesterday, I received a phone call from someone I PMed with a question about a rifle brand I'm getting serious about. That fellow was SOOOO helpful and positive!

Michael has been very responsive as well.
