Well guys I'm stuck in the hospital for a while and I'm already missing my shooting. Sure glad I have the forums to go to especially this one. Hope to be out in 2-4 weeks so in the mean time keep it up and I'll be checking in.

Is shooting out the hospital window frowned upon where you are?... Just sayin!! 2-4 weeks is a long time in the hospital. Hope you are able to heal up good and soon. Wishing you all the best.

Funny you mentioned that. I'm on the seventh floor with a beautiful view of the city and surrounding hospital wing's roofs. I've already mentally been sniping the pigeons. Had one actually land on the window seal about an hour ago and had its head cocked over looking in. Thought it was teasing me.

Thanks guys for all the thoughts and prayers. It's one of those it can't happened to me things but when you reach 56 I guess anything is possible.

I recall a story about a POW who liked to play golf. While in custody, he would play his favorite course every day in his mind. When he got back to the "real world" his scores improved.

Thanks you all very much for the thoughts and prayers. Can't have too many of either. Out of the blue and after a few tell tell symptoms I was diagnosed with AML. Everything is going well, I just finished my 7 days of chemo. They will continue to test for results and go from there. There's a plan in place and a full recovery can be expected. It'll just take a while. In the mean time I'm following the forum and realllly looking forward to getting home and flinging some lead down range.
