Shipping Wars!

I've been puttin away pennies for eons it seems, and finally saved up to buy a nice new springer, and ordered one from Krale in the Netherlands. The same day I ordered a scope, rings and ammo from Pyramyd.. One is shipping FedEx one is UPS.. Both are scheduled to arrive this Wednesday, and I happen to be off the next two days.. Let the games BEGIN!

"If your shipment is expected to be in transit for more than a day between tracking scans, we will display the day and date of the Next Expected Tracking Event in the Shipment Progress area."
-UPS
guessing this is why I now no longer have a "will arrive by" date and have new future departed scans... I'm pretty sure that saying "We think it will be somewhere around here at sometime during transit" is not tracking at all. I'm assuming my rifle is somewhere between Germany and Georgia at this point and also that it will take a more reasonable amount of time to travel from the other side of the world. Way to suck, UPS. At least don't drop it.

UPS came through despite their Miss Cleo based tracking. I gotta give props to Krale-schietsport.nl They were able to get an air rifle from Europe and through customs in the same amount of time Pyramydair was able to get a scope and pellets across 3 states. I had a mini stroke right after I got her. I skipped through the house quickly grabbed a pellet and out the back door cock it (it is every thing they say) squeeze off the round and hear loudest most heart sinking crack I've ever heard.. I was expecting smooth light power around 12-14ft-lb.. I came back inside did a quick cleaning and got out the chrony and the first 10 shots were over 1000. Then it happened. 815 w/JSB Exact 8.4's, 760 w/H&N Barracuda Match 10.6's, 750 w/JSB Exact Heavy 10.3's, and all with 5-10 extreme spread for the 10ish shots I checked with each. She settled down to just at 13ft-lbs and a nice little thud. The scope will be a pseudo-fixed power. The stock is amazing. It is like this warm lil hug every time you shoulder the gun. I will be doing a more in-depth review of the gun and have some nice pictures in the near future. I may even go to walmart and grab whatever looks nice that they are offering in .177 and do a comparison of the two.
