i have a 3x12x44 scope.and have it set on 112 power.onlt have 4 mill dots.id i lowerthe power to 9.will i get more yardage.alex

Hey Alex,
You can look at chairgun and get a good idea of what the distance increase would be. Assuming your shooting 33.94gr heavies at 900fps with a 40 yard zero your fourth mildot shows, in this circumstance to be at 89yds. If you reduce the power to 9X the fourth mildot is now good for 101yds. If your looking to shoot further you could always zero a little farther out also.
